gaming Problem Recording Wii U Gameplay using the Avermedia LGB Lite Capture Card

Hi everypony!

 

I'm in a bit of pickle so I need your help. You see, I was trying to record some Wii U gameplay from my laptop using the Avermedia LGB Lite Capture Card but RECentral can't seem to find the signal input even with all the HDMI cables connected to the TV, the game console and the capture card itself. Oh, and I also connected my laptop to the device using a USB connector.

 

I tried several attempts to make RECentral display what was shown in the TV but all it says is "No Signal Input". Is there something I'm missing or did I pick the wrong capture card for the job? I dunno. All of this makes my mind turn into a scrambled mess.

 

If you have a solution to this problem, please tell me as soon as possible. I need to record some gameplay to upload some of my videos to my YouTube channel. Thanks.
