Basically it would similar in design to the PS Vita's design....except it will be much lighter, will include clickable L3/R3 Sticks, PS4 style L2/R2 triggers on the back of the console (dont worry touchpad on back is still there), and the name on the front will be "(PS Logo) TV".

The box of the controller will also clearly state that it is NOT a PlayStation Vita, and while it will be able to function similar to a Wii U gamepad in that while you could use it as your TV screen for your PS TV, PS4, or PS3, it is not a portable game system.

Another feature is you can set it to when you are playing Vita games touching the screen will only make a pointer come up showing where you are touching, you must press one of the triggers to "click" it, thus avoiding accidental touches and so you dont have to look down. Of course the default touch only system is also there as an option.

Also, PSP and PS1 games' controls can be totally remapped (but the games of course will still show the default control scheme). For example, lets say you are playing Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters. You can remap the Camera controls to R3 right and left, but thats not all. You could also make it so instead of having to press L1 and R1 at the same time to crouch, you can set the combination to R1 and set L1 to something like First Person Mode.

Anyway, whats your opinion of this controller idea?
