Trine 665 May 23, 2015 Share May 23, 2015 Its the way jaws are set up. The way ponies look like they can actually talk fluid like humans do. Because they aren't too long, so they can easily move their jaws like us. Do you think the same or is it just me? Its a formula that one can make sounds and create a language. 1 http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/sorcerous-maximus-r8096
TheJLeeTeam 914 May 23, 2015 Share May 23, 2015 I haven't noticed that but even in earlier generations ponies could talk too. 1 My blog post on Starting Fresh with MLP:FiM: https://mlpforums.com/blog/2076/entry-16988-im-starting-fresh-with-mlp-fim/
The Awesome One 1,315 May 23, 2015 Share May 23, 2015 That is just the animation style there. If they had decided to draw them a bit more realistically they would still be talking but yes, you are correct. The way their jaws are set-up do make it easy. [NULL] 906 May 23, 2015 Share May 23, 2015 They can talk because and it's a cartoon fantasy world where meaningless intricacies such as this aren't expected to be thought about, unlike story, characters, or the meaning of each episode. They designed the characters (jaws included) with visual appeal in mind, not scientific accuracy.
