Beraha had been listening quietly this whole time, delving into his memories of what his own mother taught him. Then it dawned on him. "I think they are talking about princess Celestia princess Luna and the queen. I forget the queens name but she is the mother of the princesses. Did we really go that far back?"

In a moment of comprehension, Scarlett Fidelity realises what the Nightmares plan might be. "If this is when the princesses were children or not even born, and the Nightmare is here, does that mean... Does that mean the nightmare came back to stop the sisters from becoming princesses of the moon and sun?!"

"If that's her plan we should go see the Princesses as soon as we can. She might attempt to kill them. If they might not be able to defend themselves." Ocean says worried. "A world without the princesses. We can't let that happen. Think of all the ponies that they have saved."

With a hint of panic on her face Scarlett looks around to find Chrysteel, when the search yields no results she turns back to Ocean and asks "Where's Chrysteel? We need to talk to him about this. And more importantly, find out what our mission actually is in more specific details."

I am used to this form I have been working with it in our time. But then in our time it was just limited. It seems this form will be permanent until we go back." Walking towards the dragon Scarlett states that it is "Nice of you to carry the non flyers, but there are a couple of things. First, how are we going to get back after? And second, how are we going to get you, a full grown dragon, though the portal if it's the same size."

Beraha chuckles. "I'm sure we'll find a way to get back to where we came from. And as for my size I think the dragons of this time had a size changing spell they were able to use. Though my magic is based off changing the element of my breath weapon, I'm sure I could learn such a spell."

Smiling slightly Scarlett says "I'm sure the flutterlings could help you with transformation spells, they do evolve into changelings after all. And as for a way back, I'll start looking into it. Now that I've been through time multiple times I may have a better chance at finding a way back than the rest."

Chrysteel says, "We are right here. As they said already, they were heading for the castle to help the queen and her daughters. We should get moving if yall are ready."

 

Chrysteel takes to the air she looks to Flutter Gold and says, "You take the others ahead. I will stay with my group and we will be right behind you."

 

Chrysteel waits for the others. The Flutterlings head off to the castle ahead of time. They are all gone within minutes.

Beraha kneels. "Allright non flying ponies up on my back and hold on tightly." Beraha waits looking at Chrysteel. "Do you think Scarlett is right would the flutterlings be able to help with a size transformation?" He smiles. "If not my mother is alive during this time she may know the proper spell for me to shrink."

Scarlett gets up and shouts to the others "Ok guys, time to get moving. Youa ll ready?".

 

While waiting for them to get ready she asks Crysteel "So, what's the plan and how are we going to complete it. Also, what will we need?"

 

Scarlett lights up her horn to check over her inventory, so she can check what she has when Crysteel replies.

 

Turning to the dragon "How far is the journey?"

Beraha shakes his head. "I have no idea of the distance." Then he looks to Chrysteel. "Can you fly above the trees to see where the castle is from here?"

 

He stays in his kneeled position waiting on the other non flying ponies to get on him. Thinking to himself. "I wonder what my mother is like in this time. I know she hadn't met my father yet but does she still have her love of ponies in this time?"

Casting a weight spell on her hooves she walks onto Beraha's back; "In theory you shouldn't even be able to tell I'm on your back, does it work?"

 

Waiting for a response she looks around to see the some of the other ponies just sitting at the rocks "Come on ponies, we have a job to do!"

The only thing I can think of is the elements of harmony. Your hearts showed me something but only now is it clearer. I can't place it yet but...We might have a chance at defeating her. As long as we work together and trust in one another. The Flutterlings have shown us that the traits of the elements are here."

 

Chrysteel looks to Scarlett, "As for my horn aura, it is the same as my aura magic." When Chrysteel ignites her Horn, her whole body is also increased in silver and pink mixed magical flames. She says, "All my magic including my perfect shapechange uses it."

"Anypony know the actual distance?"

 

Turning around back to Chrysteel and observing the aura, Scarlett quietly asks "Could you show me a few simple disguises please?"

"sorry I just bashed my head on a rock and I would rather walk than get on that dragon" Banner said as she picked her self up. "If one of you ponies can do something to make me fly then tell me but if not then I am walking" she says as she heads to the forest in the direction of the castle

Scarlett thinks for a moment, before addressing Banner and Crysteel; "I can teleport us to the castle if need be. If he can't move and it's necessary and we won't need any of my magic soon I could get her there and wait for you ponies." Turning back to Banner she asks "You don't get teleportation sickness do you?

"never teleported before probably because most or the unicorns I know cant do it and I am not one my self" Banner stopped walking and pointed out "I don't even know how hard it is but if somepony like you can do it then it must be medium difficulty" Banner stated

Scarlett stopped walking with Banner and says "It is in no way medium difficulty, and nopony other than a highly trained Alicorn could get the entire way in one jump. I transfer some of my magic into objects and use those as magical charges, sort of like a buffer. And before you ask where I learnt or how, lets just say living in a wasteland full of horrors worse than the nightmare requires some extra skills to be acquired."

Beraha shakes his head looking at Banner. "We should all stick together, it'd take me only an hour to get to the castle. If that long really. Also why would you not be comfortable letting me carry you. We were all chosen by Chrysteel and she's the captain of Celestias gaurd. It would be wise to trust her judgement."

Banner looks lost in what was just said to her "weird enough being alicorn but all those things are real to making it weirder" her attention goes to the Dragon "I have never trusted a dragon in my life there monsters that kill innocent ponies and you will no doubt do the same even if we get done with this whole thing you will just take control your self by killing us when are backs a turned"

Chrysteel says, "Banner, have you ever looked at the situation with dragons from a different point of View. Take spike for example. He is a dragon. Yes he was raised by Twilight as her brother and Number 1 assistant. However he is still a dragon. Would you say the same thing you told Beraha to spike? Also, Beraha isn't a fullblooded dragon. He is half pony, like me."

Beraha shakes his head chuckling. "Well my friend I was raised by a flight of dragons that loves ponykind. My father died protecting us from other ponies. Yet we did nothing to get vengence for that act. It was my father's dying wish that I carry on his work to bring dragons and ponies together in peace and harmony. I will spend every waking moment of my life to bring that to fruition."

 

He smiles at Chrysteel. "Thank you for jumping to my defence." He looks back to banner. "I don't blame you for your mistrust not many if my kind are like the flight I grew up with."

Scarlett getting slightly exasperated "Shouldn't we be going somewhere guys. I mean it's not like theres some sort of pony who is the living embodiment of nightmares trying to potentially stop the princess sisters from ever becoming princesses or anything"

Chrysteel says, "How can we help others if there is conflict with the group, Scarlett? Being a being who has had to deal with this mistrust and earn what I had before we came to the past, I know what both Beraha and Banner is going through. As long as there is separation between us as a team and as friends, we will never be able to stop Nightmare Moon."
