technical issue Server has been unusually slow lately

I'm not sure if its just me, but I've been noticing that in the past 2 days, the MLP forums servers have been acting very slow. Notifications take at least several minutes to upload or don't at all, and overall there's a significant lag when trying to access other parts of the forum.

 

Is this a personal problem or is the site undergoing maintenance? I know nothing has been down lately.
