That really is a bummer. I can’t blame him though, being such a huge figure on the internet probably causes a ton of stress, and I know he gets a ton of hate from rabid fans who disagree with his theories. YouTube keeps going downhill as well with their stupid rules and now their crusade against ad blockers is making it even worse. Easy to see why he wants to quit and spend more time with his family instead.

Watched some Game Theory vids here and there.  My first viewing of anything with MatPat was this:

I recommend the video as a whole, but he appears in 7:20-8:55.

Yeah not only that but he’s actually gotten a lot of hate this past year just for collaborating with other people on theories or even mentioning a theory by someone else. Like Fuhnaff. Reddit especially has been dragging him for the past year over almost everything he's done or said. You can’t blame him for leaving. Hes unoriginal, he can’t come up with his own theories, his theories are wrong,he’s stealing others content, he’s using other theorists for clout, etc. He’s missing out on time with his family for an ungrateful fanbase. It’s a shame because it causes people like Matpat who seem like genuinely good human beings to leave platforms while the actual problematic ones get to stay.

I mean Sephora should be age limited in the first place because these skincare products aren’t made of a kids skin. Now it sounds like they’re not only destroying the testers but opening up brand new products, using them and putting them back in the packaging like….I don’t buy ulta/sephora brands as is. But I do buy perfume from them which I now will be buying from Macys until this mess gets figured out.

A couple of reviews on the first two Dragon Quest (Localized from 1989-2003 as Dragon Warrior) games:

Bumped a DQ thread not too long after joining the forum.  Even though other RPGs came to the west first, these were still my first to the genre.  First game I got free as my mom got me a membership to Nintendo Power.

A rare item drop in two, the Mysterious hat, now localized as Mad cap is a reason the Pokémon games incidently have the trade mechanic.

Yep.  In fact, when they show the favorite game (Vagabondia Chronicles) of Marcy Wu from Amphibia (Marcy at the Gates), the cover art is a reference toward it.
