SpaceOnion do what you want but I am going to tell you this, some of the GREAT artists never EVER point out their mistakes because they would think you're art is not perfect after you tell them that.

 

But in my opinion it is almost perfect!

noticing your own errors is a rare skill. It generally takes me about a week to start seeing the little bads in my drawings after I think I finished them... luckily other people see them faster XD

 

That being said, I am not a great batman style connoseur, but as far as character design goes your character could use some personality. As you noticed in the character studies you did, all important characters in there have certain traits that make them stand out. Batman is very represented on his shoulder-part, Alfred is very lean and has a shape that makes you think he's always sliding somewhere.... 

 

Batman is indeed quite noir so I guess you have a relatively limited palette to work with, but don't be afraid to play with lines.Give your character an occupation, make him do something, think something.

 

it's a bit hard to explain... but you're very good technically so the only thing I can think of improving in here is the design dynamics.

At this point you drew a very good background character... turn it into a main
