Most times when there is a film(or television show) based off a videogame or likewise a game that's made specifically to tie into a movie or show they end up badly. i'm wanting to know what some of the worst are that people have seen and played.

Pretty much all movies based on games have been bad to abysmal(not counting things like The Wizard, Scott Pilgram, and Wreck-it-Ralph, since those are just based on the idea of games rather than a VG franchise themselves) 

 

Games based on movies has had more luck at being good(examples include Godfather, Die Hard Trilogy, Scarface, early Disney games around the SNES/PS1 eras, several Star Wars games. Hell, Goldeneye was one of the most revolutionary games in its time), but unfortunately the bad far outweighs the good, with some of the worst examples being The Fifth Element, Sega's Marvel games, Charlie's Angels, Catwoman, and most infamously E.T. which is often noted as one of the big games responsible for the VG crash of 83

Worst movie based off a video game: Silent Hill Revelations 

 

I actually liked the first Silent Hill movie (or at least found it watchable) but Revelations was so bad and I cringed the whole way through. Bad acting, overly-complicated story and even some parts being extremely stupid, bad writing, and even some effects were bad.

 

I don't really have a video game based off a movie that I hate. Most video games based off movies are meh or I haven't even seen/played them.

The worst games based on Movies of all time would be all this Phonix and Midas games, which are based on already horribly cartoon ripoffs of famous disney classics.

 

Examples would be Dalmations 3 (as seen on the Caddicarus Channel ) or Goldi ( which is based on the Movie Goldi which is a terrible ripoff of Bambi )

 

The worst videogame adaption would be Alone in the Dark 2.The reason is simple : It has NOTHING, NOTHING to do with ANY of the games.It doesnt even have anything to do with the first Movie   Why does it even exist? 

 

And of course we cant forget about the game Titenic

Let me think.I know anything from LJN or Ocean they have made some really bad games on the NES and SNES and also destroyed good movies and turning them in crap games.

There's only 1 movie-licensed game that I like, and that's The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay.

 

An astounding game that turned out to be better than the actual movie it was based on, lol.

 

Other than that, the worst movie-licensed game I've ever played is probably Spiderman on the Xbox.
