Awesome Moments When Meeting The Cast From MLP

Recently I came back from bronycon and had an awesome time. But the best parts was meeting M A Larson and having casual conversation before he had a panel and of course getting to hug Princess Celestia herself or at least the voice Nicole Oliver.

 

I could only afford one ticket for a photo and since I had nothing to autograph I wanted to get a picture with at least one voice actor/actress. John de Lancie line was way to long that people had waited the whole 2 hours to be disappointed when signing ended. But Nicole Olivers line was not too bad.

 

When I walked up to her, instead of mentioning ponies I said she was awesome in Supernatural and she told me that was sweet of me to notice her other work. After I got a picture with her and has some small talk, I asked if I could get a hug. She then told me that she was flattered and of course I can give her a hug. I tell you guys it was so awesome. I then proceed to say it was a pleasure meeting her and to keep up the awesome work.

 

In the end it was so awesome to get a hug from her and I wish I could do the same with other female voice actors from the show or shake their hands, but I only had money for one ticket and Nicole Oliver is one of my favorites. In a way her personality reflects that of Princess Celestia that she is so nice and is like a motherly like figure. In fact she plays such a character in some of her live action shows she is in.

 

Anyone else get to experience similar things with their favorite MLP voice actors/actresses? Or Feel free to comment on my experience.

I never know what to say to them. I did get pictures with John de Lancie and Andrea Libman though. John looked very tired at the time. He must have gone through a ton of autographs and pictures before I got there. Nothing special happened with either one. I just got an autograph and picture, thanked them, and went on my way.

My hand brushed M.A. Larson's arm after he failed to notice me reaching for a hand shake. In the middle of a crowd of people after his princess panel. Just took a deep breath as I walked to the door playing -

- in my head. Still one of my favourite moments from the con (my life, actually). I went to the Canterlot Archives panel, but didn't get close to any of them afterwards. I also got a few pictures and autographs from Dr. Wolf and Nowacking, but didn't even get a glimpse of de Lancie.

I guess becuase it be kind of weird just meeting them and all being a guy lol.  Personal preferance I guess, but if I got to know them on a personal level like a friend I would.

I had a really awesome Con. I got to take Pics with Delancie, Wesluck, Oliver, and Libman. But, Nicole was the only one I actually got an autograph from. They really upped the price. And I really didn't  have 30 bucks to throw out at 4 people. SO I just decided to spend 90 bucks on Autographs, as opposed to 120. I know it has nothing to do with the ACTUAL cast of FIM, also got a pic, with Nowacking, I am pretty psyched about that. I can't wait for 2016.

 

I had a feeling, that De Lancie, and Andrea, would be HUGE lines, on Saturday. That's why I got their's on Friday. It really prepares me for next year, if they happen to get Strong, or Belle, I can only imagine, how long that line would be. If Tara was there, there'd be a line, from the Autograph hall, all the way to the Inner Harbor. LOL

I personally like the smaller conventions as you get to have personal time with the VA's more. At Ponycon I was able to talk to Vincent Tong and Andrea Lipman for about 20 minutes when they were just hanging out when they were done signing autographs since there was about 1000 people at the whole con, plus if you spend money on a better ticket you have VIP hour in which you get to just hang out with the VA's exclusively and just be yourself. Although bronycon was awesome, since its so big with over 10000 people out are rushed through lines and security of the VA's are very strict and go by the book to the point where some of the VA's got uncomfortable from the security being rude to the fans at times. Many of the security were not even bronies lol.
