Midnight Guild Secret Hideout

Mist Twister sat on a couch in the mission room of the hideout. He couldn't believe he was actually here. Just yesterday he was buying groceries for his parents and now he was awaiting orders from Princess Luna herself. 'Maybe I shouldn't have arrived so early,' Mist thought to himself. While he waited for the others to show up he read over the letter he had received from Princess Luna.

The letter read:
Dear Mist Twister,
I have been observing you for sometime now and have concluded that your skills are ideal for a team I am putting together called The Midnight Guild. I have sent this letter to you and several other candidates in the hope that you will accept my gracious invitation. Your job, should you choose to accept,will be to use your criminal skills to bring justice to Equestria. If you decide to accept please meet at the coordinates on the back of this letter at midnight.
Signed Princess Luna.

Mist turned over the letter. On the back were the coordinates to the hideout he was sitting in. It was a pretty nice hideout. It had all the essentials; a fully stocked kitchen, sleeping quarters, a training room, an armory, a garage, hell it even had a games room. But by far the best part of the hideout was the mission room. It had a large control panel surrounded by couches and at the front of the room was a large flat screen, which Mist assumed was for mission briefings. Above the screen rested a plaque made by the original members of the Midnight Guild. Upon was written the oath of the Midnight Guild.

The plaque read:
Though criminals we are,
We do what's right,
Under the cover,
Of darkest night.

Mist sighed, he wished the others would get here soon.

Jade walked with hood over his head hoping no one would notice him when he finally got to the building. I cant believe Luna wanted me...maybe she spied on me before hand, if the guards know that they would probably blow a fuse he thought then chuckled then went in the building that looked almost like it was abandon on the outside. when he was in the two story building he thought out loud "it was six rooms and a control room, it should be behind this furnace behind the stairs" he walked up to it then saw the candles lite them then spoke the password "Though criminals we are, we do what's right" he lowered his voice for the last part to a whisper "under the cover, of darkest night" then blew them out opening the middle of the furnace "now I have to crawl?" he complained. he entered the control room to finally see a pony waiting patiently "kind of an excessive entrance code don't cha think? I kind of like it though"

Shadow walked to the building, checked if this was the location, then willed his shadow to consume him, and passed through the wall, the only problem is that he didn't know the layout. when he came out of his shadow, he looked around to see a bunch of beds. He walked out of the room, to see two ponies waiting, he sat on a couch, that was empty, and he merged a little into the couch.

Mist looked up at the pony who had asked him a question. "Excessive? You haven't seen the half of it." Mist got up and walked towards the pony. "My name's Mist Twister," Said Mist as he shook the pony's hoof, "Welcome to the hideout of The Midnight Guild. Feel free to make yourself at home. We have chips in the cupboard and drinks in the fridge."

Mist turned around and saw what looked like a half dragon half pony half merged into the couch. "well," Mist said to himself, "that's certainly something you don't see everyday." Mist walked over to the half dragon half pony, "Hey buddy," he said, I suppose you were told to come here by Princess Luna too?"

Midnight approaches the building drenched in darkness, using her bateyes to navigate, and she made sure to clench onto her sword with her teeth. Midnight then checks behind her to make sure that she is not being followed and then proceeds to take off her top hat and  puts it in her saddle bag right next to her tool box using her wing and then taking out the letter to be sure if this is the right building and then walks through the front door to meet her future.

Shadow looked up at the creature talking to him, freed his front claws, then said to him self, "so this one is going to be on the guild as me, cool" Then he smiled, showing his pointy teeth, he said, while scaping with metal claws together,

 

"Yeah, name's Shadow, and don't let my teeth scare you. Now, if you excuse me, I'm going to get something to eat."

 

He sank into the couch and head towards the kitchen, leaving only a shadow, to show where he is

Midnight peers into the room to see what appears to be a shadow disappearing into the kitchen and then looks around to see a Batpony talking to a Pegasus which causes Midnight to deem that the situation is not hostile and with that sheaths her sword and walks into the room and then stands in the corner and greets the two ponies in front of him with a nod

Midnight peers into the room to see what appears to be a shadow disappearing into the kitchen and then looks around to see a Batpony talking to a Pegasus which causes Midnight to deem that the situation is not hostile and with that sheaths her sword and walks into the room and then stands in the corner and greets the two ponies in front of him with a nod

 

As Mist watched Shadow head into the kitchen he saw a female Pegasus standing in the corner of the mission room. He looked over at the Pegasus, "You know standing up really can't be all that comfortable,you should really come and have a seat," said Mist gesturing towards the couch. Ticktock decided to let his little experimental spy bot to go in before his to scope out what kind of ponies were there. The spy bot was like a spider about one eighth thee size of a pony. Ticktock saw that the area looked safe so he snuck in and hide in the kitchen unknown to him though was that the shadow was in there too.

Midnight frowns at the sofa and then glances back at the Batpony and then states "I would rather not thank you, I am comfortable standing over here" then Midnight glances the Pegasus up and down and she is curious upon what he could bring to the job.

Shadow came out of the ground, opened the fridge, and started looking, he said to himself, okay, i'll guess i'll have toast. He placed two pieces of bread into the toaster, got the jam, & a knife out. When the toast was done, he took the toast out, then he saw a pony sneaking in, he said, as he placed the jam on the toast,

 

"So, Luna sent for you as well?"

 

Then he ate his two pieces of toast

Midnight upon hearing sounds from the the kitchen gets a grip upon his sword but doesn't unsheathe it and proceeds to kitchen to look for the disturbances in which he locates a creature which seems to be comprised of shadow and a unicorn sitting on the floor. Midnight sees this situation and asks" What the hell is going on in here?"

Ticktock jumped back at the sight of the shadow but quickly pulls himself together and answers "Yes she did I assume that is why you're here.

 

Ticktock saw the other pony with sword and in self defence grabs his sword but still keeps it sheathed "Well in case you didn't hear like I assume you and this shadow I was summoned here by Princess Luna."

Midnight looked at the unicorn and then said "Yes i understood the you two had been invited. What I was wondering why the hell did you come through the window when there is a perfectly normal front  door round the front the front... Is that  mechanical spider may i have a look at that."

Ticktock chuckled "Oh no i came through the door i just used my spy bot what you refer to an a mechanical spider to watch to then i snuck into the kitchen where i was scard silly by this shadow." 

 

When Ticktock heard Midnight ask to have a look at his spy bot Ticktock had cluched it protectively but then put it down "Yeah i guess so it's my latest invention although be careful alot of inventions i make tend to explode."

Midnights eyes widen at this prospect and reply "You make inventions? Oh i have to look at the blueprints for those. As for those exploding incidents I could probably help with those, here see my letter, I'm an engineer as you can see. Hmm... As for one of the exploding problems with this spider, the core is out of alignment.

When Shadow was finished eating his two pieces of toast, he cleaned up his mess than left the two ponies talking, he sank into the ground, moved into the wall, he checked each room, making a mental map, then he headed off to the sleeping quarters. He found a bed that was mostly hidden in the shadows, he laid down, closed his eyes, and let his mind wander

Ticktock smiled "i'd love to show you them unfortunatly i dont keep them on me for saftey reasons." Ticktock face palmed when Midnight pointed out the problem with the core "Goodness your right how could i have missed it i need to get to a work shop quickly luckily this place has a garage." Ticktock then grabbed the spider bot and ran into the garage."

"I don't really care to eat right now, I have gone longer without food...I was kind of a thief before this, I like to call it more of a kleptomania problem" he looks back at the letter to see where the game room is "I need some fun right now, if no one comes with I will be playing some pinball or solitaire" he walks toward the game room

Mist shrugged his shoulders, 'If she wanted to stand that was her choice,' He thought to himself.

He turned back and saw the pony he was talking to early heading to the games room, "..if no one comes with I will be playing some pinball or solitaire." he heard the pony say.

"Hey wait up," shouted Mist as he ran up to the pony, " If you're up for a game I'll take you on in a game of pool."

Midnight walks out of the kitchen and into the mission room to get a proper look around to see how secure the building looked and then looked around the building to find a bed for her to secure. Midnight wonders into a hallway to find 8 rooms side by side of which one had her cutie mark engraved into it. In which midnight walks through to find a fully stocked room, Midnight then hangs her bag on the door hook and sits down with her tool box and starts developing blueprints for a new sniper rifle.

 

@Dapper Charmer (Before a wrongful and danegerous, towards you OC, comment is made my OC is a girl. Sorry if this sounds violent but sex confusion annoys her)

After a while of relaxing, Shadow's wings and legs began to stiffen, he sign, a little fog came out, but disappeared quickly, then said to himself,

 

"this is what I get for having metal legs and wings"

 

he got off the bed and headed to the garage, he found a screwdriver that fitted the screws, then sat down and began loosening and tighten while moving the body part.

 

 

(I keep forgetting he's part dragon, and is element of fog/smoke, but I can take it out)

Ticktock noticed the shadow thing from earlier in the garage with him tinkering with his legs and wings!? Ticktock decided to go over to him and make friendly convisation "Um... Him what you up to and why are you tinkering with your legs and wings i mean your hardly a robot are you... hahahahaha!"

Shadow looked up, he sighed, letting a little fog out, then set the screwdriver down, then said,

 

"No, I not robot, my legs and wings get a little cramped sometimes, from not being my actual legs, so I have to loosen them a little to get the cramp out then tighten them back up."

Ticktock's eye's beamed as Shadow explained to him what he was doing. Ticktock then grabbed Shadow's wings and started to inspect them pulling them in and out murmuring to himself about the wings, Ticktock had also got a not pad out and had begun writing stuff on it with magic whilst still moving the wings around.
