gaming Staryu, Cleffa, Deoxys, Solrock, Lunatone. Mysteries left unexplained?

What's up with these Pokemon? What do they all have in common? Well, firtsly, both Staryu and Cleffa are both categorized as "the starshape pokemon", which is interesting. Secondly, Cleffa, Deoxys, Solrock, Lunatone, and Staryu have Pokedex entries that say that they didn't originate on the pokemon world, like most other Pokemon, but rather, they fell to the earth on meteors or shooting stars, and appear to be most active on nights where meteor showers occur.

 

Am I the only one who wants the origins of these space pokemon revealed, and just much more done with this group of Pokemon? (Origin/ primal reversion forms, or something)

Well I haven't played a full game of Pokémon since the 90s  Back then the only backstory you would get was from the TV show. Staryu sounds familiar. But it would have been cool to have more backstory in the actual game.

It said on the pokedex that 'Deoxys' was originally some sort of alien virus before turning into the pokemon it is today, but other than that I got nothing else

I wouldn't evn look to the show for canon information, since it doesn't treat it seriously.
