Letting out a slight chuckle, he responded, "Yeah, maybe I do..." Then when Midnight brought his parents up, he replied, a small smile lingering on his face, "Well, let's see... They're pretty nice... They always cheered me up when I was feeling down, and they kept telling me I would get my cutie mark soon when I didn't have one..."

 

He let out a light sigh as he remembered the days when he didn't have a cutie mark. "While I was still a blank flank, the students there would tease me... Well, all but a few of them... But I used to go home after school to get away from the ones who teased me... And my mom and dad, well... They always found a way to cheer me up... I don't know how, but they always managed to cheer me up."

 

He let out another chuckle as he said, "I guess that was one of their talents... Always being able to cheer others up..." He let out a small sigh as he remembered their faces. "I... I kinda miss them... I hope they're not worried about me..."

midnight rolled over on his back careful of his wings, pulling electro into a hug smiling, "if they love you like you say, im sure their worried, but not overly worried," he smiled bigger "and we will go visit them tommorrow as soon as were both awake, okay?"

he kept a smile on his face, though a blush was apperent, as he leaned up and gave electro a deep kiss. "mm, i bet their understand how we feel about each other."

Smiling once again, he responded, "Yes, we will see them tomorrow..." He then embraced the kiss before hearing Midnight speak again. "Well... There's only one way we'll know for sure... But yeah... I'm sure they'll be understanding..." Letting a small chuckle escape, he said, "You know... I don't know why I was worried about that in the first place..."

midnight smiled "from what ive heard, its natural," he blushed, "ive had no personal experience, t-this is my first realltionship...."

"midnight, your rambleing again.."

midnight swallowed "s-sorry,b-but ive talked to alot of mares and stallions, and thats what their first worry is....if parents approve."

he smiled "my....lets just say adoptive, mother approves, thats all i need," he smiled and kept his hooves wrapped around electrobolts neck, "all you and i need is your parents to be okay with it."

"how about... The chestnut tree cafe?" overdrive suggested, "they've got some good eats there, just don't have any of the gin, it's nasty.". He chuckled as he led Schwartz to the living room, grabbing his guitar along the way.

Electrobolt returned Midnight's hug as he responded, "I'm still a little nervous, but just being with you... I feel like nothing could go wrong..." With that, he closed his eyes and began to nuzzle Midnight on his cheek.

Midnights heart fluttered at those words and nuzzle back affectionately "and nothing ever will hun."

he smiled and just continued returning the nuzzle like it was the most normal thing in the world for him to do.

"h-how did you figure out you liked me"....i-i mean...i did kiss you and all, but, i...i just hope i didnt force you into it."

"I pride myself in my intricate ways" he joked back. "anyways, we're here!" he gestured towards a small and old looking building. When they walked inside, overdrive was greeted by a few ponies he had met there before.

"this place is cool, but what makes it special is this.". He pointed toward the menu, which had prices in bits, as well as in what looked to be stars. "it's simple, some ponies come here to listen to music, when they do, they buy little star badges from the bar to give to bands they really enjoy. The bands can use the stars to pay for food, or cash in for a bit of pocket change. I'll show you"

He walked off and pulled aside one of the ponies who greeted him a few seconds earlier. The white coated stallion followed overdrive up to the stage carrying a trumpet.

"alright Blare, I'm going to play something a little different tonight"

The stallion nodded and Overdrive began to strum quickly. (gerudo valley theme)

 

When they finished, a waiter walked up to the two stallions and handed them each a sizeable amount of stars.

"Oh get outta here," Electrobolt called out to Overdrive, before returning to Midnight. "I don't know what's with him... Anyways, to answer your question..." He looked back to the door, now closed. "When you did that, I... I felt something inside of me... I... I can't explain what it was, but... I was confused..." Shaking his head, he looked back to Midnight. "I needed some time to think, and... As I was thinking, once I realized what it was that I had felt... I had run into Overdrive..." He let a slight chuckle out. "To think, the jokester was the one who actually gave me the courage to do all of this..."

midnight blushed at overdrives comment, "i think he has a marefriend and is just trying to impress her." he smiled,

listening to electrobolts story he just had a bit of a dumb look on his face then when he finished midnight blushed again,

"r-really?" he smiled big, "im happy he did, b-beacuse, i kinda felt terrible, i-i mean if you didnt like it, and stayed away from me, or that you didnt know and returned it...but i had been somehow forcing you into it, i-i would have felt bad...."

he blushed then looked up, "b-but im happy, happy that you loved it and, that i can openly return the affection."

Lovely blushed at Cloud and laughed. "Hush now, that's for the bedroom." Lovely wrapped herself in Cloud's hooves and rubbed against him a bit, "I'm an out-of-towner remember? I need you to show me around? Anything spectacular? A must see? A world wonder? Excluding your body obviously." Lovely winked.

"And I'm happy that you're happy..." Electrobolt returned, giving him another hug along with a kiss. *Geez... That line sounded so... Cheesy...* he thought, but he disregarded the thought as he continued to embrace Midnight.

Midnight smiled softly and blushing ran a hoof along electrobolts chin and returned the kiss, "heh, im getting more and more used to this." he smiled and rolled back over, letting electrobolt lay on his back, just being careful to avoid the wings, while he continues to read, out loud.

Electrobolt peeked over Midnight's shoulder as he looked at the book, even though Midnight was reading it aloud. He was always a fan of the Daring Do series ever since he was seven. All the while, Electrobolt continued to hug Midnight, being careful with his wings as he read along with him.

midnight smiled and continued reading aloud, only having recently been introduced to the Daring Do series, but immiedietly falling in love with it, he could feel electrobolts warmth and smiled, not wanting to move from his position, lest he ruin the moment.

Electrobolt continued to read along with Midnight, still hugging onto his back, before his eyes started growing heavy. *I'm tired...? Already?* he thought, trying to fight off sleep. He was fighting a losing battle, though, as his eyes slowly started to close. Before they shut completely though, he gave Midnight one more kiss. Once he did that, his eyes finally shut tight, as Electrobolt snored lightly, barely making any noise, but not enough to bother anyone.

Scopes was acting strange...well not stranger than his normal self...which is ectremely strange. Well it's hard to actually emphasize how strange Scopes is. If being strange was being funny...well Scopes would...wait a second. Being strange on purpose is being funny. This is very hard. Think strange.

Nevertheless Scopes was acting strange. He didn't want to break those pipes. In fact he never wanted to break pipes before. There were so organized. Now all so chaotic. It made him smile.

midnight tilted his head and whispered "electro?" he smiled and kissed his cheek before turning around and shutting the book setting it down, then getting comfortable himself, "goodnight love." before putting his head on the pillow and falling asleep almost immiedietly.

Cloud smiled and quietly chuckled, "I'm an out of towner as well my dear... but yes I do have experience of the places in this town, shall we?" he said as he opened the door for Lovely as they left.
