A New Life in Ponyville

Lovely followed Cloud outside, it was beautiful. There was enough of a breeze to keep her from over eating, but not too much that it made her cold. Lovely's mane swayed slowly in the breeze as the warm sunlight beat down on her face, reddening her cheeks a little. The air has smelt as if it has just rained, and little creatures were beginning to peak their heads out. Yes, everything was perfect.

 

Lovely realized she hadn't seen Scopes around in awhile, and Midnight and Electrobolt had mentioned about some sort of disturbance with him. Lovely faced Cloud, "is everything alright with Scopes? With all the blossoming love around I'm sure he can't help but to feel left out." Lovely paused for a moment, "maybe we should invite him along?"

Cud thought a moment, she had a point about Scopes. As strange as he was he couldn't help but feel sorry for him. " Very well, well ask him if he wants to come along, he can of he agrees to it" he said with a smile.

midnight yawned and opened his eyes, he chuckled when he noticed electro was sucking on his ear, it was cute and kinda gross, but whatever, ponies did weird things while asleep.

not moving midnight picked up the book, and began reading again, being careful to let electro get his rest.

As Electrobolt began to wake up again, he tasted something different in his mouth. Once his eyes opened up, boy did they open when he saw it was Midnight's ear that was in his mouth. Quickly letting his ear out, Electrobolt began to rub his tongue. *When did I do that???* he thought to himself. *I sure hope no one else noticed...* He noticed that Midnight was reading again and peeked over his shoulder, silently reading along.

midnight gave a sly smile as electro woke up, and in a teasing tone "enjoy my ear did you?" and he gave a nuzzle to his cheek then a kiss yo his lips before turning back to the book again, reading aloud and smiling softly.

*Mercer was flying in the clouds above ponyville. He looked down at the ponies below and saw a familiar figure.*

"No way."

*He smirked and lowered his altitude a bit, and, just as he suspected, there was his old buddy, Cloud Chaser.*

<Ha, he is distracted with his new marefriend! This is gonna be good.>

*He glided right above Cloud, then released a piercing eagle shriek and dived down and takled Cloud with the enthusiastic shout of,*

"FOOTBAWL!!!!!"

Letting out a little chuckle, Electrobolt replied, "And what if I did?" He gave Midnight another little kiss before returning to the book. *Man I love Daring Do books...* he thought, before glancing over to Midnight's face for a bit. *But not as much as I love Midnight...*

(little bit of a time skip X3) Midnight streached his back and looked up at the clock "think your parents are awake by now?" he nuzzled electrobolts chin, before resting his muzzle next to electros.

he was a little anxious, but a little frightened, what if they didnt like it, its not like they could really do much, but midnight was prone to overthinking things.

Looking at the clock, Electrobolt noticed the time. "Hmm, I'm sure they're up by now..." He then looked back to Midnight, who seemed as if he was worried. Giving him a small kiss, he spoke to him, "Don't worry, I'm sure everything will work out just fine..." He then gave Midnight a nice hug, to help calm him down.

midnight smiled and leaned into the hug, feeling safe and secure, "well, lets go then, im kinda anxious to meet your parents."

he smiled and closed the book setting it down, then as electro got off, he streached, a few bones cracking but in the good way.

"ahhh, that feels a little better," he smiled, "how was i for a pillow?"

Stretching his body himself, Electrobolt let out a small yawn. "Heh, you were pretty comfortable," Electrobolt replied. Looking over to the door, he said, "Well, if we're gonna go meet my parents, may as well go now." Looking back to Midnight, he asked, "Is your body feeling any better now?"

The last thing Cloud heard before being tackled was the shout of "FOOTBAWL!". He was bowled over by Mercer as he was completely unaware of the griffon until it was too late. The duo tumbled a few times across the grass before Mercer had Cloud pinned on his back. It took Cloud a few seconds to realize what happened, but he soon shook his head and beamed at the griffon, "Mercer!!" he shouted before throwing off Mercer, tackling him in return and putting him into a headlock and nuggying him as he said "Where've you been ya featherbrain?!?!"

Midnight nodded and got off the couch "yes i am." he smiled "lets go." he streached his back and yawned, making sure everything was a-ok then trotted over to the door and looked back, "ready when you are."

*He made a fist from his claws and pounded it against Cloud's hoof. Broclaw.*

Cloud chuckled as he brohoofed/clawed Mercer, "Wouldn't expect any less of you dude" he then motioned over Lovely and put his arm around her shoulders, "Mercer, I'd like you to meet my marefriend Lovely, Lovely, this is my best friend slash rival, Mercer"

Electrobolt nodded as he walked over to the door, saying, "I'm ready to go." Once he got to the door, he opened it up, as he walked out alongside Midnight. After he closed the door behind them, they began their walk to Electrobolt's house, together.

Cloud chuckled as he brohoofed/clawed Mercer, "Wouldn't expect any less of you dude" he then motioned over Lovely and put his arm around her shoulders, "Mercer, I'd like you to meet my marefriend Lovely, Lovely, this is my best friend slash rival, Mercer"

 

"Always gotta add the "slash rival" thing, dont ya."

*Mercer said with a chuckle.*

"Nice to meet you Lovely."

*He said.*

"So! You finally got a marefriend, eh? Remember how when we all were little, you had a crush on Riza? Ha! That was hilarious bro."

Midnight smiled and leaned softly against electrobolt, making sure he was stable, and just in case he fell, smiling and nuzzleing electros neck "thank you."

he noticed the home that had come into view, "wow, this house is reallly nifty." he said with a smile

"Well you ARE my rival dude! And that crush was all it was, a crush." Replied Cloud as he elbowed Mercer in the shoulder

*Mercer said as he lifed up his right claw and showed the ring on it.*

"In just a couple of months, it will be our two year annaversary."

Smiling when he heard Midnight speak about his house, he responded, "Yeah, it is, isn't it?" He then began to wonder what his parents might think about this whole deal, though. *Will they be alright? Are they home? If they don't like it, then will I still be able to see Midnight? What if they don't want me to see Midnight at all after this???* Slowly, Electrobolt stopped, a few feet away from his front door. He began to shake out of fear, unsure of everything at the moment. Worry had filled his face, and it was clearly visible.

"Not for me it wasnt."

*Mercer said as he lifed up his right claw and showed the ring on it.*

"In just a couple of months, it will be our two year annaversary."

 

Clouds eyes shot wide open and his smile became ear to ear, he glomped Mercer as he yelled "Congrats bro!!!! I always knew you two would get hitched!!! Why didn't you tell me?!?!"

midnight stopped and turned, "now your turning into me." he walked back and nuzzled his cheek against electros, electro shaking was scaring him "hun, whatever happens, im with you, dont forget that okay?"

he softly kissed him on the lips and smiled, "kay?"

Clouds eyes shot wide open and his smile became ear to ear, he glomped Mercer as he yelled "Congrats bro!!!! I always knew you two would get hitched!!! Why didn't you tell me?!?!"

 

"We havent seen each other in four years bro! I havent had the chance!"

*Mercer said with a laugh.*

"I tried to find you before the wedding, you wouldve been best man, but you were impossible to track down."

Lovely smiled cutely at Mercer as she watched Cloud and Mercer reunite and reminisce. Lovely beamed at the sight of Mercer's wedding ring, "wow! Congratulations!!" She cheered. Lovely approached the two hugging in a manly embrace and helped them to their feet, "so where is your wife now Mercer?"
