Lovely smiled cutely at Mercer as she watched Cloud and Mercer reunite and reminisce. Lovely beamed at the sight of Mercer's wedding ring, "wow! Congratulations!!" She cheered. Lovely approached the two hugging in a manly embrace and helped them to their feet, "so where is your wife now Mercer?"

 

"We bought a house at the base of Canterlot Mountain, it quiet, peaceful. I dug out a steel mine, I mine ore, she turns it into awesome art and practical tools. Thats where she is now, shes working on something big, so I decided I would give her some space to work on it."

*Mercer explained.*

"She really is brilliant in that forge of hers."

Cloud smiled "Well it seems she hasn't changed dude, I remember when she got access to her family's forge, dang she was excited". He then looked to Lovely and smiled, "You two would get along great, Riza may be a little quiet at first but she's a blast once you get to know her"

Once Midnight spoke up and then gave him a kiss, Electrobolt slowly began to calm down. Looking at Midnight, he let a small smile appear on his face. "Th... Thank you..." he spoke up, giving Midnight another hug. Letting out a big sigh, he said, "I'm feeling better now..." Walking up to the door, Electrobolt knocked on it, awaiting a possible response from his parents. But there was no response.

Cloud smiled "Well it seems she hasn't changed dude, I remember when she got access to her family's forge, dang she was excited". He then looked to Lovely and smiled, "You two would get along great, Riza may be a little quiet at first but she's a blast once you get to know her"

 

"Incredibly. Remember when she made us dull swords, and we gave each other concussions? She still wont let that go."

*Mercer was smirking at the memory.*

midnight tilted his head, "do you always have to knock?" he smiled "it is your house too." he gave a lopsided grin, and waved his hoof at the door "after you dear." he giggled softly, "always wanted to say that."

Cloud laughed and facehoofed, "Oh we were so stupid back then" he said as he shook his head. "I swear my head still hurts just thinking about it. Hey, did she ever delve in all that natural healing stuff her mother always did? She was pretty good at that too if I remember correctly"

Letting out an embarrassed chuckle, Electrobolt replied, "Heheh... I guess I'm still a little nervous..." Laughing a little at Midnight's remark, Electrobolt nodded and walked into the house. "Hello? Mom? Dad?" he called out. "I'm home..." Once again, there was no response as he began to get nervous again. "Uh... Where are they...?" he nervously asked. "Did... Did they really go out to look for me... Or something...?" He moved quickly through each room of the house, worried about whether his parents were there or not. As he hurried past the table in the kitchen, however, a note flew off and landed on the floor, all folded up.

Cloud laughed and facehoofed, "Oh we were so stupid back then" he said as he shook his head. "I swear my head still hurts just thinking about it. Hey, did she ever delve in all that natural healing stuff her mother always did? She was pretty good at that too if I remember correctly"

 

"Yeah! There are an abundance of herbs and medicinal plands on the land we bought. I get hurt fairly often in the mine, and she always fixes me up, good and new."

"Wow! She sounds incredible!" Lovely felt a bit envious and insecure that Cloud us to have a crush on such an amazing creature. Which got Lovely thinking, "uhm so is she a Griffon like you then?" Lovely asked trying not to come off as rude.

Cloud hear how Lovely sounded a little insecure, he wrapped his arm around her an held her close, kissing her and giving her a loving smile.

midnight tilted his head at how nervous electrobolt was getting, it unnerved him as well, but then noticed the folded up not and picked it up, "hey, hey, calm down," he said with a loving smile, "here, i think they left this for you."

he put the note in electros hooves and smiled.

When he heard Midnight speak up to him, and hand him the note, he slowly calmed down. "They left this note for me...?" he asked mostly to himself, but Midnight could hear that question too. Opening the note, he began to skim through the letter. Sighing, Electrobolt said, "We missed them... I don't know how long they were gone, but... They went on a vacation..." Reading through the note again, he noticed an extra message at the very bottom. "Huh?" he muttered before reading this aloud. "PS: Before we left, we decided to check up on you. We figured you were still at your friend's house, and---" Electrobolt's eyes widened as he dropped the note.

midnight wanted electro to say it, he didnt want to read it himself, for fear it might be something bad, and the fear and anticipation creeped into his voice.

he hoped it wasnt bad, he didnt want to give electro up, not now.

"oh celestia, this is killing me."

Lovely blushed and smiled as Cloud comforted her. He truly was a good guy. "I've never actually met a real Griffin before," Lovely explained to Mercer, "how often do you come to pony communities?" Lovely realized she didn't know very much about griffins, and was slightly embarrassed about it.

Electrobolt shook his head, as he picked the note up again to make sure he read it right. After his eyes scanned over the same line over and over again, a smile grew on his face. "Midnight, I don't think we have to worry about them needing to know," he finally spoke out. "Turns out, they already saw us together and knew what was going on." Giving Midnight a huge hug, he finally said, "They said it's ok! We can be together!!!"

midnight sat there dumbly for a moment, then realized what electrobolt said and smiled wrapping his hooves tightly around the stallion, "i am happy and relieved electro." he smiled and kissed the stallion on the muzzle, and deep loving kiss.

"this is a very special day indeed." he got a sly grin, "mmm, care for some food somewhere?"

"Rarely, my family and Riza's are some of the very few. And it is also very rare for a griffin family to have more than a father, mother, and one child. So griffins are not an abundant population, even in our own country. The population of the griffin country is about 500,000,000 while Equestria has at least 4 billion." *Mercer explained.*

"I feel like I've been living under a rock all this time, I can't believe I just lived my life never even knowing about these things. I knew griffin's existed sure, but that's about it." Lovely looked up at Cloud, "how did you two even meet anyway?"

"Oh, you have no idea how relieved I am," Electrobolt responded before embracing the kiss with Midnight. After Midnight pulled away to say that this was a very special day, he said, "Oh yes, and what a special day this is!" Noticing his grin, and asking if they should eat somewhere, he asked, "What do you have in mind?"

midnight couldnt contain his dumb grin "mmm, i dont know, you have any place in mind?"

he was very releaved, his body felt like jell-o but he didnt want to collapse in front of electro lest he might worry his lover, so he stayed standing.
