The Elements of Disharmony

As the dark Alicorn Prince flew towards Ponyville he sensed a massive amount of Disharmonic energy coming from the Everfree. (Could it be?) he thought to himself, (surely it can't be this easy to find the Elements.) Fuchowa flew down into the Everfree and found the source of the energy. Fuchowa noticed the grey Pegasus destroying a local ruin. He flew down to meet the Pegasus. "You there," he said to the Pegasus in a deep commanding voice, "I see you have a grudge against the Princesses. It just so happens I do as well. Perhaps we can assist each other."

Princess Twilight walked down to the main room of the castle. She activated the large table in the middle of the room. (All I need to do,) she thought to herself, (is to find the locations of ponies who can represent the Elements.) Suddenly an orange light appeared on the table. It was hovering over sugar cube corner. "Excellent," Twilight said to herself, "first stop Sugar cube corner."

Twilight left the castle and flew to Sugar Cube Corner. As she was about to enter she noticed a yellow stallion walking towards the shop. (Could it be?) she thought to herself. She quickly rushed over to the pony. "You there," she said, "Although I am not certain at this point, I believe you can help me protect Equestria."

As Missklang was slowly trying to get of the stone pile, he felt the air get colder. A shadow appeared in the hall. The sky outside suddenly darkend, as his heart missed a beat. He felt as if happines was slowly drained from him, leaving nothing than sadnes and despair. The shadow approached the pegasus and he could get a better look at it. It was a tall alicorn, dark as night himself. Missklang sensed the huge amount of dark magic coming from him. 

 

 

 

"You there. I see you have a grudge against the Princesses. It just so happens I do as well. Perhaps we can assist each other." 

 

 

He was lucky that the Alicorn didn't saw him, or sensed his magic, it must be due to the spilled poison joke extract which chaos magic masked Missklang's own chaos magic. He had the advantage to hear the bad guy reveal all his plans as all bad guys do. 

 

"I wander what sort of plan he has. It could be fun! I guess..." thought Missklang to himself.

 

He wasn't sure how to act in case if he were discovered. He still got some of his bombs. Surely they could buy him some time to escape. He hadn't though enough magic for a controlled teleport, so that was a big problem too.

As Spikus walked through the doorway he noticed a large statue with pedestals as part of the design almost as if something was to go on top of the pedestals but were long since removed. "I understand that ruins will have broken statues and stuff inside of them but this thing just looks like some stuff was stolen off of it or something." He continued walking around trying to find the source of the crashing sounds from inside of the castle. It was at this point he stepped on the switch to a hidden wall passage that spun him around to a different corridor leaving him lost. "What the... This stupid wall just made me lose track of where I am!" He kicked the wall repeatedly getting angrier with each attempt. "You think that just because your a wall you get to tell ponies where to go and they just have to listen to you! Is that how you think this works?! You can't tell me where to go you stupid structure of brick and mortar!" Kicking the wall more furiously now leaving cracks with ever kick until it eventually gave out and crumbled into rubble. "Yeah take that stupid wall! You deserved everything you got!"

As he was trying to hid in the shadows, Missklang heared a dull noise coming from the wall behind him, the noise get louder and louder, and soon, a crack appeared on the wall, getting bigger with each time. The wall wouldn't last long.

 

"Well, that's unexpected" thought Missklang.

 

Suddenly, the noise stopped. Missklang aproached the wall and nocked politely.

 

"Who's there?"

Façade regarded the alicorn before him, his anger slowly subsiding. Dark Façade knew what this creature was. "Fuchowa, the Dark alicorn." He then stood up on his hooves, for he had fallen while bucking a particular hardy stone column. He knew that Fuchowa was banished all those years ago, by those accursed princesses. Façade then spoke deliberately, and very slowly, "I think we might be rather in common, you and I, so yes. An opponent of those cursed princesses, I will help you." And then he bucked another table for good measure. "Those princesses are going to regret the day they killed my family."

While he was distracted with the wall, Missklang heard the pegasus calling the alicorn Fuchowa. So the stories were true after all. He knew very little about him. The Princesses, as always, wiped out most of the information about him from the archives. Master of the dark arcanes, his power was more than just strong. Compared to him, Sombra was just a pale shadow. Missklang wondered how the prinsesses kept him away for all this time. But he was sure of one thing: the events took a very interesting turn...

 

"He he he. I imagine their faces if he just casualy walked through the main door and said hello" he giggled.

~deep in the everfree forest, near whatever ruins you guys are talking about, im asuming it's the castle of the royal pony sisters~

 

A bush rustled. Several more followed. A pair of long, wooden antlers poked out of the bushes, cutting a swath through the overgrowth like a shark's fin through water. A silver furred head, bearing the antlers, poked out of the bushes like a meercat, facing the Ruins of the Royal pony sisters.

 

"Looks like we have visitors, Khris!"

 

"Dear Enzo, Judging by the amount of disharmonic magic radiating from there, i don't think they're here for tea. The last time you made tea for somepony, you used poison joke leaves. Please do not do that to these ones."

 

"I don't think that will be a problem. I mean, it's not like an ALICORN would want some tea made by some hermit in the woods."

 

"You're missing the point-        wait, alicorn?"

 

Sword and stag alike squinted their eyes and magical sight respectively, making out an Alicorn through the castle's broken window in the darkness. Speaking of darkness...

 

"It usually isn't so dark at this hour, even in the everfree. The alicorn probably did this for dramatic effect. Smug bastards."

 

"Judging by a list of sterotypes i made a few years back the Alicorn is definitely evil and  has dark magic. Probably wants to gather a squad and conquer the world too."

 

"Which means we stay away"

 

"No, it means we go in and poke our noses where we don't belong"

 

The duo ventured towards the ruins, Khris happened to identify the Alicorn.

 

"That... Is Fuchowa. Dark alicorn and stuff. Master of arcane shadow boogaloo annnd as usual you aren't listening to me." , Khris's voice slowly draining away into a deadpan tone.

 

"Nnnnnope. The everfree is pretty much my house, anyway. i've been itching for a chance to tell someone to get off my property ever since that incident with an apple farmer."

 

Enzo trotted jollily towards the Castle, a bright and carefree atmosphere surrounding him, contrasting with the overall dark atmosphere artificially created by a certain alicorn. The stag casually trotted over the crevasse that separated the castle from the rest of the everfree, roots springing out of it's edges to form a bridge which the stag casually trotted over.

 

Standing at the base of the castle wall, Enzo threw Khris up and through the window, tassel extending, and activated his Frost enchantment, ice forming around the blade and anchoring him in place.

 

With the combined force of a jump and Khris's tassel retracting, The stag hopped up the wall and over the window, landing in a large room, currently occupied by a gray pegasus and a Dark alicorn of evil and death. probably destruction, too.

 

Retracting Khris and donning his usual shit-eating grin and the most ridiculous, redneck accent he could make, the stag trotted up to the 2 ponies. He cleared his throat and greeted them:

 

"Howdy boys, what brings you to this here part of town?"

Missklang heard the smashing window. Oh boy! Newcomers. Completly forgetting about his undercover, he walked out his hidding spot and casualy trotted past the alicorn towards the new arrival.

 

"Why hello my friend! Feel yourself at home! Don't worry about those two, they are just plotting the destruction of the royal sisters, nothing for us to worry about. Would you care for some tea? On my way here I spotted a kitchen area and some of the sofas in the living hall are still intact."

 

As he got coser, he felt a strange presence. A quick scan revealed that somehow there was two unicorns around. However, as he looked left and right, he could only see one.

After yelling at the rubble of the hole he made in the wall he looked up to find the same unicorn that was hovering around him earlier. "Ah crap not you again. I was expecting something much more interesting from the sounds I was hearing but NO just some stupid unicorn." His eyes scanned the area to see that it was largely in tact despite the sounds he could hear. "Or I'm just dumb and assumed the first thing I would see would be the source. I'm not apologizing either way." He walked through the hole and looked around more expecting not to see much in the way of anything.

Haaa! As a multicolored beam mostly consisting of dark colors shot out of Alpha's horn, it contacts Angel...

 

Ahhhhhh, please change him back, please change him back, oh please, oh please!!

 

No problem Fluttershy, I'm already pretty good reversing my spells, I think I have the spell to fix it!

 

Alpha focused all his energy into reversing the mutation spell, he felt a distorted spell, and instantly lost ALL is focus, firing a beam that does who knows what out the window...

 

Let's try that again another time, "my dearest student" and I sense a quite powerful evil nearby, somepony even stronger than Tierk himself...

 

And like that, Discord snaps his fingers and Angel was changed back to normal, more or less, and was off to tell the princess of the Impeding Doom that slowly approaches....

Oh, over there's Sugercube Corner, and the Mayors house, and oh There's the empty plot of land where the golden oak library used to be, wow all the story's.

Alpha decided to shake the nagging feeling he's been having, and decided to settle in Sugarcube Corner, and buys a nice cherry fritter and delightfully eats it in peace in a quiet corner in sugarcube corner and watches the scenes unfold in front of him...

While Fuchowa was chatting it up with the other Pegasus, he pulled out his bag of tricks. He then asked Fuchowa, "How should I proceed. And how terminal is her sentence going to be? Because she's going to get in trouble with the law."

Façade pulled on his old uniform. He adjusted his glasses. Then put on a thick motorcycle cop mustache. He now was as he had been for 7 years. He cracked a smile and said, "Considering the fact she's going to attack the head of the Equestrian Intelligence Service. It will result in a pretty hefty sentence."

So yeah sure why not I don't see any reason not to at least screw around with the possibility."

I will be the one to make plans and you will not act until told to do so." he said as he turned away and spread his wings, "first we must find the other four bearers of the Elements of Disharmony." Fuchowa flew into the sky above the ruins. He turned to talk to the two pegasi while in mid air. "I have sensed another element at Canterlot. You two will follow me there. Understood?"

Enzo abruptly turned to the alicorn and stomped his hoof.

 

"Get off my property."

 

"Typical of you. Alicorn prince of darkness and you still try to piss him off."

The tension in the air was almost physical. He better go somewere else before he got cought in a fight. 

 

"Eh... I'l let you handle this one" said Missklang as he approached the window.

 

"Well, have fun everyone, I'll had back to Poniville"

 

Suddenly, he felt a powerful Chaos Magic coming from Poniville. It appered as if it was, heading this way?

 

-ZAP!-

 

A beam of pure chaos energy hitted him right in the face, pushing him back into the room.

 

"Mother of Celestia! What in the tartarus was that?" he yelled.

 

The energy was some kind of transformation spell, he wasn't prepared at all so he missed the chance to cancel the spell. As the magic sparcled around his body, he had no idea how it would affect him.

After he finished his delightful fritter, he paid and walled out.

On the was out he noticed that the princess, and asked Hi Ms. Twilight, what are you doing here?

As he waited her reply he thought to himself, I wonder if she knows about the thing Discord was talking about, ehh I guess Discord already told her, better not try to look bad in front of Twilight. As he quickly wiped his chin...

Huh, I guess Twilight must be discussing something really important if she doesn't notice I'm next to her, oh well I guess I just leave her be, and I needed some flowers for the living room...

Façade put up his stuff, wondering how it the world the alicorn was going to manage his plan. "Eh, not my problem then." He then ask Fuchowa, "am I still needed here? Because I believe there is a train I need to catch." Façade pulled a sword out of his bag of tricks and decided to sharpen it up until he was needed. It was getting a little dull.

He felt his whole body shaking as the wild energy slowly took control. His head started to hurt and vision become blurry.

 

"What is happening to me?" thought Missklang

 

Something went wrong, he was transforming. The spell somehow overcome his natural resistance to chaos magic and he saw that his hooves started to wobble while glowing with purple energy. Suddenly, in a flash of light, it was over. As he regained focus, he looked back at his hoof. It wasn't there! Instead he saw... A claw?

 

 

"Well, this is odd" thought Missklang. "I better go somewere safer."

 

As he tried to stand up, he used his magic to teleport back to Poniville, however, his spell failed him once again, teleporing him far above the ground.

 

"INCOMING" shouted Missclang as he fell on a blue unicorn who was walking out the Sugarcube Corner...

As he fell on the ground, he felt as if his whole body turned into jelly, preventing him from breaking his bones.

 

"Well, that's strange. But I'm glad I didn't hit my head as usual. After all, I wont forget that I need to tell princess Twilight that she is going to be murderised but that evil Fuchowa alicorn. Anyway, thanks for asking. Do you have a mirror. I feel not to be my former self anymore."

 

He stood up, realizing that he was way taller that he was normaly.

 

"However you are wrong. I am from Poniville. I was a former librarian back then, but I got replaced by someone from Canterlot due to my studies in chaos magic. Apparently ponies dislike that books try to bite them. But I don't saw the library in the town. Strange, maybe I forgoted how it looked? Im pretty sure it was a tree..."

Hmm? I thought the draconquus species were extinct, except for Discord, but Discords doing who knows what, but still, meeting another draconquus, I wonder if he knows any magic he could maybe teach me?

"Am I? Ah this is fantastic! I always wanted to become one!"

 

Sadly, he suspected this to be just a change of his physical form. He didn't yet mastered the chaos magic well enough to preform the full metamorphose, but this body seemed be able to conduct chaos magic much more easily, making him more powerfull at using it.

 

"Hmm, you are a a very interesting unicorn you know? I sense chaos magic in you, similar to the one Discord have. Are you his son? You apperar however not to be able to acces it all, it seems to be limited by your lack in knowlege upon how to use it. Anyway, name's Missklang. Glad to meet you! I have urgent news for the princess Twilight, I sence her presence near..."

Spikus' eyes followed the alicorn as he flew up listening as he spoke. "Fine I guess, but I'm not going to be happy about it." He spread his wings and flew up to follow the alicorn. {Well looks like something interesting is actually going to happen for once and I'm going to be right in the middle of it.} he though to himself.
