A semi-sequel to my scrapped TV shows thread. 

A lot of times, a new movie, or a sequel to a really popular movie is planned, scripts are written, sometimes even recording is finished, but for whatever reason, the movie is cancelled. 

 

One example would be the planned second semi-sequel to Rocky Horror Picture Show (The first being Shock Treatment), Revenge of the Queen. It was going to be about the Old Queen of Transsexual, who's seeking revenge on Riff Raff for killing her son, Dr. Frank N. Furter. Unfortunately, it will probably never be made. However, copies of the script do exist.

 

I think it would have been nice to see the planet Transsexual, and what kind of mother the Old Queen was for Frank to become the murderous crossdresser we know.

 

What cancelled movies do you know of?

It seemed like we were gonna get a movie for the Witchblade comic series. Original writer and artist Marco Silvestri confirmed it. However, that was 2009.
