Bass Concerto 27 November 8, 2015 Share November 8, 2015 A while ago, I wrote a research paper on bronies for a college class. If anyone wants to read it out of curiosity, it's linked to below. Enjoy! https://www.dropbox.com/s/wf63zxirky25bhq/On%20the%20Generosity%20of%20the%20Brony%20Fandom.docx?dl=0 3 ask-bass-concerto.tumblr.com
Dark Horse 12,971 November 8, 2015 Share November 8, 2015 Hey Bass Concerto. Since the topic of your Paper relates to the Brony fandom, I've moved your thread to the Sugarcube Corner section. Thanks! SugarfootWillie 383 November 8, 2015 Share November 8, 2015 I like what you have to say about the condition of the brony community. I do have one qualm though: in the second to last paragraph the Wiepking quote may be pointing to a reason for the generosity trend that may not exist. At the ages 8-21, many people are still living with their parents or guardians. Living with a caretaker increases the amount of disposable income one has; therefore, one is not giving because he or she plans on making more money, one is giving because any money available is not needed to maintain a sustainable life. Failboy4 13 November 8, 2015 Share November 8, 2015 (edited) Wow,the first brony in my school i met are the one who say we human are evil and we should let pony conquer us.Most bronies In school I know want to leave their world including their family, love one and even their friend just to live in equestria with their favourite pony. Some brony i know say we human are evil.I think i the only brony in school who is proud to be human.I watch mlp because the character are cute(Mostly cuddly) and interesting. The moral lesson is okay and sometime is cliche.Your are lucky to know that kind of brony.Good for you. Bass Concerto 27 November 8, 2015 Author Share November 8, 2015 Sugarfoot, I can totally see why you say that, and I suppose that your reason could also exist, but both are possible reasonings, and it would be remiss to discredit mine so quickly. Failboy, it's a bit sad that those are the kinds of bronies you've met, but, to be honest, I only know one brony personally. All the research I did and analysis was based on what I saw on the internet; none of it was based on actual interactions. And let's be honest; humans do suck. That's why I do my best to make us better 1 ask-bass-concerto.tumblr.com

Bass Concerto 27 November 8, 2015 Author Share November 8, 2015 Hey, I'm just glad someone took the time to read it and talk about it. I'm not sure how many people I expected to actually read it, and definitely not so quickly. ask-bass-concerto.tumblr.com
