Atayla's whiskers twitched at the little confrontation, and she glanced to her partner.

"Maybe she has a tail?" She suggested, voice dripping with sarcasm as her own, long tail flicked to punctuate her point.

 

She turned her attention back to the girl.

"Hey, don't worry about my friend here," she said softly, "He's never been great at talking to women. Tell you what, we'll give you a free ride, maybe you can tag along with us to pay off your fare?" She winked, grinning to show she was being honest.

"Allright...." girl said as she turned around to face our heroes onces again "...I am going to pay you onces I get some gold." And at thet moment she removed her hod from her head and our heroes could see thos red eyes in full moon light,they could also see long chestnut hair.Her eyes did not look like she was crying,or like she was about to cry anny time soon - could all this maybie just be girl act."By the way,I am Holo." girl said to our heroes

Ticktock rolled his eyes at Atayla "Fine, she can get i ride however i expect compensation (in the form of money) or you might find you will regret double crossing me if you do." Ticktock then extended his hand "Anyway my name is Ticktock... Nice too meet you Holo."

Atayla rolled her eyes and nodded at Ticktock, still looking at Holo. "See what I mean? Horrible talker with girls."

 

She grinned and held out a paw for Holo to shake. "I'm Atayla. Thief, smooth-talker, occasional one that gets this guy anything to eat."

She nodded to Ticktock again, winking cheekily.

"Ah..." As holo started two ears raised from her chestnut hair up,they looked like they were from wolf like. "...so you are the boss here." Holo said to Atayla.Holo then looked at Ticktock "So doeas you know to drive cart well?" she was trying to say they may need to start moving,but for now she did not whant to be too offansive.

Ticktock nugged his companion "Hey!" Ticktock then turned to Holo with a surprised expresion on his face "Well if you must know i'm the one incharge, if it were up to her we would probably be thieves and not honest traders." Ticktock then grunted at the new comers remark "Fine we can get going, however where is this town?" Ticktock then sat back and took off his hat, showing his cat ears.

"So you would be fun boss!" Holo said as she looked at Atayla with her deep red eyes.Holo was smaileing as she was talking maybie because she would finaly see her homeland and her home town onces again or maybie because for the frat time after many hundred years she had a person to talk to But then she heard Ticktock asked about were her home town could be,and thet made her smaile drop right off her young face."I-I dont realy know..." Holo started with week voice,there was nothing plyfull in it annymore "...it was a long time from when I left Yoits....But I do know it was some were ower there." Holo tutned and pointed at north-east with her small heand.Ears on her hend were lowered probably because she didn't feel too happy annymore.

Atayla turned her head around, looking over her shoulder at the north-east. She blinked once, thinking nothing of it, and looked back at Holo.

"Well, we'll likely be heading that direction at some point," She explained, shrugging, "I don't see why you can't come along. It'll be nice to finally have another girl around." She smirked.

"Yeah...." Holo said to Atayla,she was still sad as she did not know were Yoits truly was.After so many years of waiting for oprotunity like this,she did not for a moment thinked thet she would be the one to forget something so simple.And so feeling sad Holo made a step towered back of a cart and had set on the bag of wheat our heroes got in town of Liper like a gift.Holo tok a big breath and looked down at horizont in front of them,dreaming of a moment she would onces again walk in her small and cold village....

Atayla watched as Holo got comfy in the back of the cart, and took her place in the front seat next to Ticktock. A grin was spread along her muzzle, happy to have a new companion to travel with. Hopefully she wasn't as high-strung as her partner.

 

She blinked as she began to wonder something, and leaned back so her head hung upside down facing Holo.

"What was the deal with that big scary monster form thing you had going on?" She asked.

"Just something I learned,on my travels.It usefull for fun you know." Holo said to Atayla with still litle weeker then normal voice.Holo did not look at Atayla as she was talking to her,she was still looking in black horizont on the left side, as on the right side could be seen onli boring green forest. "Will traveil with you for some time now so tell my something about you,would you not?"

"You'll have to teach me that sometime," Atayla purred, smirking to Ticktock, "Might give me something to mess this guy around with."

 

At Holo's request to tell her about herself, the Khajiit shrugged her shoulders.

"Not much to tell," she admitted, "I was raised in a guild of thieves in a port town a bit of a ways from here. Learned how to sneak, steal and smooth-talk. Then I ran into this guy-" She nodded to her partner, "-a while ago, and we've been travelling buddies since."

Ticktock gulped "If you do then i swear you will regret it!"

Ticktock then rolled his eyes at Atayla "Yes Ticktock replied took us five minutes to become friends... and the rest of my life to regret it. Hahaha.Yeah well without me you would probably be in a prison somewhere."

Holo smailed at our heroes with week smaile,and then turned her eyes back on road in front of them......

 

 

                                                                      Town of Beginnings

 

 

Day did already started as our heroes reached the city of Hirun,town of elfs.This day was not so beautifull and clear,on sky clouds were thick and black and sun could not been seen,but it should probably been in the midle of sky.Air did become thick,there were all signs thet rain is about to come soon,maybie in five minutes maybie in an hour,and our heroes did not have a shellder and should probably go to the town tavern as quick as possible.

 

Holo was lying on thet one worn out bag of wheat our heroes got in town of Liper as a gift.Her eyes were closed but her ears under her hood were twitching at anny sound around our heroes.Holo opened her mouth to speak "Rain will soon,yes?" her voice sound litle annoyed,maybie she hated rain for some reson.Holo did open her eyes as she waited for some one to answer her easy question.

Atayla was crouched onto the seat of the cart, idly playing with a gold coin to stave her boredom. The journey to Hirun was a long and inactive one, leaving the energetic Khajiit almost frustrated with nothing to do.

 

Her ears twitched at hearing Holo speak up, and she slipped her feet onto the floor to sit properly on the seat. She gave the air a sniff.

"No doubt," She muttered distastefully, then glanced at Ticktock next to her, "I keep telling you get a cover for this thing!"

Ticktock had just been controling the horse for the whole trip, honestly he was pretty sure he drove it whilest sleeping from half the trip. He then nodded im agreement with Holo "Yep ceetainly looks like it." He then gave a slightly affended look at his traviling partner "Well sorry but my home is in a very dry area and i'm still getting used to the weather pattern, besides i dont mind a bit of rain, if you care some much about it buy one for the cart yourself."

Holo seen a great set up,and so she quick raised up from thet wheat bag and in just a moment she was behaind Ticktock.She set one heand on his right shoulder and she moved her head close to his left ear and said with charming voice "But you would not let MY get wet,it is not a good hospitality you know." She had a soft smaile on her face,uf Ticktock was to look back at her.

Ticktock moved a bit away at the sudden touch and as Holo spoke his face bagan to turn a bright shade of red "WAIT!...What?!... Oh well this kind of stuff costs quite a bit of money sometimes, plus i need to feed all three of us now and..." Ticktock then turned and saw Holo's face and began to sweat a bit thinking "Oh lord that face it reminds me of a puppy..." After a minute Ticktock gave it "Oh fine! i'll buy one when we pull into town ok!?"

"Arent you a sweat heart..." Holo said to Ticktock with still charming voice,she still had thet soft smaile on her face as she pull back her hand from Ticktock shoulder.She then quick turned around and her face was now facing away from Ticktock "...hope we reach tavern soon as rain is going to fall...." Holo raised her head and sniffed couple of times,like a trained dog "..in just a three minute."

An amused purr rumbled from Atayla's throat as she watched Holo talk Ticktock into getting a cover for the cart.

"You need to teach me that," She smirked at the newcomer, "Maybe he'll stop being so stingy with his cash and buy me a nice dress."

 

She nudged her partner to tell him she was kidding.

Ticktock rolled his eyes "I'm just charming i'm sure." Ticktock gulpped when Atayla asked to know how Holo had got him to say he wuld buy a cover for the cart, silently thinking to himself "Please no, one girl doing it is bad enough... but both of them oh lord help me!"

"Teach you whant?" Holo started as her voice almost returned to normal.They were passing the frst houses of Hirun as Holo contineued,she had put back of her hand on her forehead "I  done noting out of ordinary,yes?" She quicked turned around and faced Ticktock,her hands was now on her hip.She smailed at Ticktock with big smaile,big inaf to show her white fangs "What did I done? Could you please tell my?" Holo knowed perfectly well what she had done,but she much more loved to have fun.And at this point making fun of Ticktock dirty mind is perfect fun.

 

Streets of Hirun were almost empty,maybie because of the rain thet would soon fall,or maybie because it was sunday.Town of Hirun was a litle biger town then Liper was.It was centered around one big tavern in the midle of town.Town of Hirun had a iron main close bay,and so there was one shop thet selled raw iron,probably fresh.This town even if it was a picefull,it did made lot of armor and wepons,because they had lot of raw iron and price of it was much higer as the final product.There was also couple of butcher shops,maybie our hereos could capter some animal and give it here to be butchered so they get cheep food.Hirun also had couple of wood shops,carpenter shop. It did also had one stable in the back of town,it was filled with horses,lot of them were still wild , but wild horses were much fester then normal ones.

Ticktock turned and a blush appeard on his face "Well... what you did was... you..." Ticktock then took in a deap breth and composed himself "You used your... 'charms' on me to get what you wanted."

 

Ticktock saw Hirun and was stummped on where to go "So any idea where we should go?"

"Yeah, and I need to learn these charms of yours," Atayla added, smirking, "Maybe this guy will spare for a decent meal."

 

A growl emanated from the slender cat-girl's stomach. "Speaking of, I say we head to a tavern right now. We've been travelling all day and I am starving."

"Yes,yes we should go to the tavern.." Holo started as she turned her head and looked at Atayla with same eyes she looked at Ticktock,but quickly looked at Atayla with normal look "...they must have great vine." Holo had forgot when did she drinked vine lest time,it probably was before she becomed the spirit in the village of Liper. "What are waiting for here,lets hury before the rain starts!!" She yelled from excitement at Ticktock.
