critique wanted Looking for some OC Feedback!

So.

I was going to make a ponysona, but I got totally sidetracked and now I've made an OC design that I'm slowly growing way too attached to. Just wanted to bounce off some ideas, and get some opinions on what personality I've got and also her design!

 

Name: Sharkbite

Talent: What even is I just an anchor fit I DON'T KNOW

Personality:

• Swears like a goddamn sailor, but has got a heart of absolute gold
• Speaks in a gruff manner
• Loyal to no end
• Quick to anger - got possibly the shortest temper ever
• Can be super sweet in her own weird, convoluted way
• Pretty much a brick when it comes to flirting
• Seriously blunt and intensely honest
• Horrible at comforting other ponies
• Shies away from contact unless she initiates it
• Dislikes hugs with a burning passion
• Gives affectionate yet strangely harsh nicknames - dumbass, trashwad, etc.
• Friendships become sibling-style relationships very quickly
• Digs sweets. A lot.
• Likes the sea/sailing/swimming/water
• Can definitely hold her liquor, and becomes a rambunctious drunk
• Got a mean competitive streak

That's what I've got so far!

Do you have any thoughts of adding a bit of Aqua color? ^^;;

I like what you have so far for this OC! The design looks really cool. It has a bit of the zebra look to it, which I think works great. Blues tend to be a more calm, collected color, which doesn't fit your OC's personality. I personally see her as more red, which is a color of passion or anger. Take that for what it's worth, as it still looks good.

 

As for her special talent: it could be just general seafaring, with a little twist- it sounds like she is the "anchor" of the crew: she is the strong one in the face of hardship, and she whips the rest of the crew into shape!

Oh! Thanks! Damn, she does look a bit zebra XD Hmm, true true. Blues are sea colours though, which is why I went with that.
