Corona was busy. She had arrived at the art festival late and was now rushing to make up for it, quicklly setting up her small booth full of dozens of paintings of the sky. She would have to make quite a bit of money from this festival if she wanted to be able afford her trip to the crystal empire in the coming months. A loud clattering sound came from her right, and Corona jumped high in the air. She turned to see a guard landing loudly a few feet away from her. she smiled, relaxed and went back to her work. large crownds like these had always stressed Corona out, since it was in one where she had been kidnapped as a filly. having the guard there meant she wouldnt have to worry  and could keep on enjoying the festival.

"I'd love to." Nitro said with a smile as it waited. He actually had brought almost all of his die-cast cars to sell so that way he could get some extra cash for paints and vinyl designs for his car. "After...gotta look for an open stall..." He stated as he awaited for Sunpearl.

@, "I'm sure they would," replied Serendipity. "The festival last year had a brilliant salad cart; maybe we could go and look to see if it's here this year? I'm really craving some fresh salad and maybe some fruit, as well."

 

Serendipity felt happy, hoping that she'd made a new friend.

Sapphire nodded in agreement. "Shall we be off then?"

 

She walked a few steps towards the entrance of the festival, then looked back, waiting for the other pony to catch up.

 

She had been here less than a day, and she had already met a wonderful pony. She was ecstatic with her new found friend.

Sol took a few small steps forward, standing close to her sister for support.  "H-Hello.  I'm...  I'm S-Sol."  She looked to Sunpearl, not really knowing what to do next, and the yellow unicorn whispered,"Sol, smile."  So she gave him a wide grin, which was replaced with a look of mixed relief and triumph when Sunpearl said,"So, is there anything you wanted here, or do you have to get going now?"

"I gotta open up my stall...luckily, I'm only two stalls down. If you ever wanna come visit, just look for the bright orange Saleen S7, AKA my car." Nitro stated as he backed away from the stall, smiling at the two mares, especially Sol, who seemed quite shy and withdrawn.

@, Serendipity nodded. She beamed happily as she walked off with her new friend. "I do like Ponyville," she said as they walked. "Of course, I love my home in the Crystal Empire, but it's always nice to visit Ponyville. Even if other ponies look at me funny. I guess I look a bit different to the ponies here."

Corona was busy attending to her stall, when she heard a pony mention something of living in the Crystal Empire. She looked up quickly, and saw a mare who looked a little.. different speaking with a soft spoken looking mare. She took a quick glance at her stall to make sure everything was in order. Corona walked over to the two mares.

  

     "Excuse me, I heard you mention that you were from the Crystal Empire.. " asked  Corona, quietly, hoping she wasn't interrupting.

A while after landing, Arcus finally finished his post-flight check-ups, not that there was really anything to check...

 

After all, he had been assured that weapons, for this assignment, we're not necessary.

 

"Which is a relief, seeing how many ponies are here... They'd probably freak out." Arcus chuckled to himself, looking about the area. Oh, of course, there were ponies staring, well, he was quite used to that. Once a guard, always a guard, after all. Deciding that the best course of action was to, of course, accomplish his assignment, the stallion slowly started to trot through the crowd...

 

"... Who knows? Maybe I'll find something interesting."

@, @@indie.spitfire, Serendipity turned as a mare spoke to her. "Yes, that's right," she said brightly, not minding the interruption at all. "I live there, near to my parents. My mum's always lived there, but my dad comes from Ponyville so I like to visit whenever I can. I also try and come for the art festival!"

Corona smiled happily.

  "Thats awesome! I live in manehattan, but try to come every year to sell my paintings. And again, sorry for inturrupting your conversation. I'm just planning on taking a trip to The Crystal Empire soon, so hearing that you were from there piqued my interest."

The mare stuck out a hoof.

   "I'm Corona Borealis. Nice to meet you!"

Script looked at it once, straight on.

 

He turned his head sideways to the left...

 

...then sideways to the right.

 

From all angles, it looked the same.  He sighed to himself, shuffling over to his stand, circling behind it, and sitting down.

 

The wooden stand was beautiful.  It was covered in a beautiful white cloth that had a colorful red and black bunting along its sides.  The colorful material walked up the struts until it became a banner that hung over the top of where he sat.  Script Dangles, it read.  Barns & Cowbells Up and Coming Writer of the Year.  It hadn't been cheap.  He'd purchased it two days ago from a beautiful unicorn mare that ran a store from an incredible chiffon building near the center of town.  The building had almost looked like a wedding cake with swoops of pastel colors and lattice decorating its sides like icing sugar.  He didn't come close to having the courage to ask her what she was doing, later that day, even though he found himself wanting to.  A mare like her was too far out of his league to be believed.  She probably would have laughed in his face.  He'd have might as well have asked out Princess Celestia.

 

In any case, the booth had been worth every bit he'd paid her for it.  It was beautiful:  A work of art, like her house had been.  Script considered that as he straightened the pile of books on the flat of his booth, arranged into a neat pyramid.  He'd brought more than a few.  He had no idea what the demand for it might be.  On the other side, likewise, he straightened the sign that bore his name and the title of his book, "Mazurka".  He produced a quill and inkpot, just in case anyone wanted their copy signed, putting them down next to the sign.  There, he considered, once it was finished.  All ready to go.

 

Back and forth, in front of his booth, he watched the colorful ponies walking by.  He didn't know a single one of them.

 

He wondered if any of them might stop at all.

Drakk sighed as he slowly trotted to the nearby town in the distance, his saddlebag jumping slightly with every step, the only sound he focused on being his hoofsteps and the jingling of the bag, aswell as his slight grumbling. "... Just got back from my venture into Manehattan, ready to relax and let all my worries slip away, and suddenly, a griffon of all things just appears from nowhere-land, hands me a piece of paper, and boom, I have business in Ponyville." 

 

He could see trees surrounding most of the town, noticing red spots on the trees to the right of the town, from his perspective, anyway. "Must be that apple orchard I've heard about. Never actually bothered´to visit it the few times I've been here" He mused for himself, his hooves touching the grass at a steady pace. "It'll probably take a bit before I reach Ponyville. Perhaps an hour, or two. Well, the faster I move, the faster I'll get there." He thought, determined. "Now, if only my contractor told me what I'm supposed to be doing there..."

Sapphire shook hooves with the new pony. "My name is Sapphire, pleasure to meet you." she said with a soft smile. 

 

"I guess you could say I'm also from the Crystal City, I did spend a lot of time there during studies, but technically.." she paused for a second before saying: "I'm from the Crystal Mountains." 

 

Ponys tended to look at her oddly when they heard that, seeing as most ponys weren't even aware the Crystal Mountains were inhabitable.

"Hmm... Should i take a stack of paper with me, or just two sheets?" Rumbled the voice of Sappy as he paced around his cave. A heavy smell of books, and wood was inside his cozy cave. He sat down on a sofa, and let out a sigh "I should most definetly bring a stack, who knows what kind of cultural knowledge i could discover!" The blue dragon got up from his soft sofa, and got himself the said paper. He went over to another shelf, and took out some ink. He put his newly optained stuff in a briefcase.

 

He looked at himself in the mirror, and was met with a blue dragon, with crimson red claws, horns and spikes. A black mustache poked out of his snout. A black tuxedo along with a black tophat tied his outfit together. He chuckled as he admired himself in the mirror "Let's see how this generation reacts to dragons" He got his briefcase and flew out the cave. He arrived at ponyville after a good 20 minute flight. He landed and looked around, looking for someone to converse with. But who would accept a dragon into their group?

I hope that you come and look me up when you make your trip; I could give you a guided tour. I've never been to Manehatten, what's it like?"

Sunpearl Rise gave Thunder a wave while Sol merely nodded her head.  The creamy unicorn faced Flame again with an apologetic shrug.  "Very sorry I ignored you.  But the pearl necklace, you say?"  She went over to the table that she kept the pearl jewelry on.  There were two on display, one a simple string of pearls and the other a single pendant on a fine, metal chain.  "I must tell you, they are indeed authentic pearls, so they won't be cheap."  She gestured to the price tag attached to the string necklace that read,"115 bits".  The pendant necklace's tag said,"84 bits".

Nitro went over to the empty stall. He parked his car and got his collection out of the hood of the car. He opened up the hood of the car and propped it with the stick. Because the engine was in the back, Nitro had more display room for his die-cast cars. He began to set them up one by one and label their prices accordingly. He sorted them by make and model, in alphabetical order. However, he put a die-cast model of his own car as the center-piece of the stall, as this was a very special premium item, perhaps one of the most expensive cars on display. Nitro had cars from Pagani, Ferrari, Lamborghini, TVR, Dodge, Chevy, Ford, Gumpart, Toyota, Nissan, Mclearan, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Alfa Romera, Aston Martin, Lotus, Hennessy, Mines, Amuse, Plymouth and many more.

Corona Squealed in delight.

  "this is so cool that I get to meet two ponies from Crystal empire! I had been a little intimidated by making the trip to be honest. Iv'e never really travelled out of equestria before.."

She turned to Serendipity.

 

   "Manehattan is a wonderful city, if you don't mind all the noise.  Though to be honest I only spend half of my time here. I'm a very big traveller."

Flame almost had a heart attack as he heard the price of the Jewelry. "W-Wow that's...a lot bits." He said his voice wavering. Flamestreak sighed and promptly fished around his saddlebags in search of anything that remotely resembled the form of bits, The Pegasus loafed in the bag for a few minutes before pulling 90 bits out of his satchel. "It's all the money I have to spend but....anything for my little sister." His hoof was shaking mighty he was barely able to keep them all the bits in hoof as he gave it to Sun, He didn't like spending 10 bits, Losing 9 times was a utterly insane thing for him to do.

[Arcus 13]

 

 

Lazily trotting through the art fair, Arcus was most definitely fascinated. There was so much to see! Ponies all over, from different walks of life, but all brought together by art. He'd come to a large, stall populated area, and was about to start trotting through, when...

 

"Anything for my little sister."

 

Those spoken words rang through Arcus' mind as he trotted by a certain stall, passing by the fellow Pegasus that had spoken them. Stopping abruptly, and turning to look, he saw... a necklace? Ooh...

 

"Well, that jewelry is quite beautiful. I'd say it's worth the bits..." He chuckled, his armor making clinking sounds as the sizably tall stallion peeked at the wares on display.

 

"... It's for family, after all."

Sappy walked through ponyville, tipping his hat at the ocasional mare. "Hmm this village responds to dragons much more positively then i thought" Mused Sappy as he rounded a corner. His smile grew when he noticed the art fair. He approached the location while he made sure that his apperance still looked top notch. He went inside and was met with a pleasent amount of ponies, that were exploring the art gallery. "This ought to be interesting" Said the dragon as he walked inside

@@indie.spitfire, "I travel a lot, whenever I can," Serendipity said. "I love seeing new places and meeting new ponies. I think that's cuz my mum always took me out on trips a lot when I was a filly. She always said that after being trapped in the Crystal Empire for all that time, life was too short to spend the rest of her life there all the time."

  "your mom sounds like a cool person. I like travelling because it gives me inspiration to paint. To be honest, its a lot more fun than my other job."  she said.
