Would you like a MLP Forums art competition for members?

I think having a monthly or not so rare competition in which all the forum members can participate with their art (no matter what type of art) where the 1st place would get some sort of prize would be a great idea.

What do you think?

Now i have an idea how this might be done...but its just my opinion.

You know those game development challenges where you get a word/subject and you have a short amount of time to do a game based around that? Well i think that's how this should be done too.

Every month a random word is selected (or picked by administrators) and everyone must create something original based on that in 2-3 days. At the end of the time limit the forum members will get to vote a single participant and the 5 participants with the most votes will enter the final stage where the staff members get to pick the winner. Not having the members pick the winner will make sure people who are very popular are not going to have an advantage and that there is no popularity fact involved in it, just the quality of their work.

I have no idea what the actual prize might be but should be something that will draw attention to the competition.

This might be a bad idea and people may not even be interested in it but i just thought it would be nice.

So...if you have better ideas i love to hear them xD

@Ken;

Moved your thread to a more appropriate section. ;)

First word!

Koukatsu!

GO! :D

No, I kid. c:

I thought that might be the case but its more like asking people their opinions than a suggestion and i hoped i could be cheeky and get more people to answer that way B)

Hmm thinking about it i guess its better if there are like 3 words or more than one anyway so we can have some interesting stuff :3
