Ooh, this remix is pretty great and cool-sounding. I love how it sounds, especially the instruments. You did a great job on this and keep it up!

The biggest thing that is holding back your piece is...your instrument samples. They're WAY too digital sounding. You might need to invest on some quality samples. Plus, you need to work on your percussion fills, they were repetitive and too much of the same. Almost every fill in a piece should be different then the previous fill. What software were you using by the way?

I'm going to go ahead and counter what Thunder Dash said by saying that I think the low quality instruments are perfectly fine. MIDI-sounding instruments like that add a certain cheesy/happy character to the music which almost reminds me of old video-game music. While you shouldn't always use lower-quality stuff, I think it benefits the song here.

 

I will concur with him about the drums, however; they were a little repetitive.

EDIT: My girlfriend has elucidated that this is actually the tune of Katy Perry's California Girls. Whoever originally did the EG parody that this is a remix of must have taken the melody from that.

I agree with Thunder Dash that many of the instruments sound fake, but that's not necessarily a bad thing if you're going for a retro 90's video game vibe.
