12 years before the events of New Vegas, Primm infested with ghouls needed the assistance of the Brotherhood of Steel. They were just ghouls so they sent me a single Palidin to handle this situation and liberate Primm. I was one of the best they had so they knew I'd be alright

Berch, walks down the street of Primm surrounded  by feral ghouls or, as the were, humans beings, like any other before the war but now 200 years later, Berch roams, looking for his adopted son, who he raised after he found him while passing through the Texas Commonwealth, they had a real father, son relationship, Berch taught, him the ways of the waste, while his son dealt with traders and such, but a few years ago, when Berch assuming it was adopted son's birthday, went out in the waste to find him a gift only to find that his son was kidnaped and taken by a gang of thieves, and he been on their trail ever since and yet the only clue he has is the card for a casino in Vegas, a 5 of Spades, and there he was miles outside Vegas a city so bright, and close, yet so far, confidnt he'l get some answers Berch went and layed down near the ally, no one to bother him and the ferals wouldn't look twice.

I have arrived at the location and it was worse than we thought... There were ghouls everywhere, from what I see they're all ferals. *moves in closer and hears ghouls hissing, I quickly shoot at them with my gatling lazer attracting more over*

I hear the sound of something blasting away, and turn my head to see feral ghouls being killed while rushing towards blast of lazers, one of the lazer beams, hit the corner of building to the alley I'm laying in, so I get up and rush to the corner towards where the beams are coming from. "I hope I get through to my son." I think to myself as I look around the corner to see a man wearing power armor killing the feral ghouls, "okay my job, just got a little harder but I think if I can move closer to the suit, I can pull out it's core, just gotta move and ready myself", Berch says moving down the corner of the stores to get closers to the bridge
