A way to quickly download message conversations.

This site needs a way to download message conversations onto your computer, so you can safely and happily delete the conversation with a backup still there. Fimfiction.net has a button that lets you download every chapter of a story as one large text file. Can we get that over here?

 

Alternatively, a way to increase your message limit. Though I think the first option is better.

, there is already a way to do that, but it is easy to miss. Either way, this is how it is done:

 

-First of all, let's go to the PM you want to download to your computer. Scroll down until the Fast Reply box where you can write your replies, and you should see a button that says Archive Conversation over it:

-When you click on that button, a copy of the entire conversation will be sent to the email that you used when you made your Poniverse/MLPForums account. From there, go to the Inbox(or the Spam Box), where it will sometimes end up:. Now you will see something along this lines:

-From here, all you have left to do is to download the file. It is an .html, so you'll need a browser to open it, but it will be an archive from the entire conversation from the first message until the last one that was sent before creating this file.

 

This should satisfy what you were aiming for.
