Best Cutie Mark Design?

So there are two ways to really judge a cutie mark.

 

1) The story behind it/ how well it represents

2) How swanky it looks

 

If I had to choose one based on story, I would probably choose Luna, because I thiiink that black splitch wasn't on her pre-banishment. So it's like a mark from the mind-parasite or whatever it technically was that entered Luna.

 

On the design side, I love Sunset Shimmer's CM design. It's actually pretty difficult to not make shades of red overpower the other colors, but the yellow compliments it very well, and the spirals look pretty cool.

 

What's your favorite cutie mark design? You can do all in one, or spilt it like me if you like.

When it comes to choosing a cutiemark based on the story behind it/what it represents, that goes to the Cutie Mark Crusaders by default. I say this because we've been with them since season 1 and followed them on their journey to revieve their cutiemarks. I admit, they aren't "swanky" looking by first glance but the complexity behind it is admirable.

 

 

 

But my favorite cutiemark design would be a tie between Luna's and Spitfire's

Luna (because best pony) and Rainbow Dash just for overall coolness, awesomeness and radicalness.

I think overall I would say in cutie mark design of the Mane Six,  Ima going to have hit up Twilight for that one.   I like the star themed and colors but also in the long term of what it means given the show and etc!  

 

Side Ponies,  Trixie gets me in the wand and moon and just its simple but very striking in its own set up a bit!

I gotta agree with Tao when it comes to Trixie's cutiemark being best side ponies but for best I cast my vote for Rarity.
