Chrysalis's is love and Adagio and her lackeys absorb negative vibes. I am fascinated to see these two together( will never happen). What would happen? An alliance? A genuine liking to each other? Although the way Chrysalis acts you'd think she feeds off of conflict as well. Chrysalys would probably at one point imitate Adagio to give orders to Aria & Sonata behind her back. I don't think he can absorb magic from someone that resists though like Twilight. Hence why he needed the help of Discord to absorb more magic.
