It's no good for playing the games you want. you might just get away with them at minimum graphics...

It has a NVIDIA GeForce GT 730, the GT series is sub-par, you REALLY need a GTX nowadays to play most games effectively.

I'd recommend an NVIDIA GTX 750 to be safe.

The processor and RAM aren't too bad, but could be better. however the motherboard is sadly lacking any decent gaming capacity.

My knowledge of this stuff got me top marks on my Technology Coursework Paper, so I'd listen if I were you :3

That one is good. the Processor is one of the better AMD processors and the Graphics are perfect for what you wanna play

Here's a build.

Still has an i3, but it has an R9 380 (you could substitute it for a GTX 960 if so desired). It's a little bit over budget, but I tried.

I would recommend stepping up and getting at least a quad-core since games these days use 4 cores. A dual-core could only get you so much..

(edited)

If you're willing to custom built your pc (personally, don't worry about the difficulty, it's the equivalent of legos in placing the pieces where they belong), here's what I managed to find for just under 600 dollars: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/D8jhRB

With the 50 dollar rebate, you can use that to help find something extra or even have someone built the pc for ya. While you don't have a quad core cpu, the I3 in question does allow hyperthreading to make up for it a bit and with a 950, you should be able to play direct x 12 games too.
