Redwood refrained from immediately opening the gift, and was extremely suspicious of it to say the least. She'd wait until she got home to open it.

"I can sign it for her. Are you new at this job, I never seen you before." Luna never saw this pony before, and was a little confused. She took the clipboard and signed it for Fluttershy.

 

"Don't worry about bags, I can carry those. I also know where they go, this happens a lot."

Missklang was looking down as Redwood spoke to Luna. He remarked that she hesitated to open the box and was a bit relieved not to get under her hooves immediately after it's opening. He looked down at her, waiting to catch her stare. When she finally looked up he smirked and childishly pulled his tongue out

It's not my fault she doesn't like jokes, bright colours or music I like...  I kinda bumped into her for few times so she must be thinking I've been following her on purpose in order to ruin her day... But I make an effort! I swear. You see? I gave her a gift. And....and I came to apologise yesterday.....night.....at two in the morning... It's the thought that counts right?

Redwood left the bags outside the door as she said she would, and continued along her route. While she was on her way to her next delivery, Redwood's curiosity got the better of her and she opened the gift Missklang had given to her. She was surprised to see it was an hourglass, one that looked the same as the one she had, except newer.

I suppose you are right. But after all, there are not much ponies can do to me. I mean I, as a creature with high chaos energy and magic in me is immune to simple physical damage. In fact, I care way too much about what ponies feel. After all, I don't really have the reason to. It is fun to sometimes harmlessly tease them. Especially the princesses.

 

You shouldn't say such things! You sound just like Discord. But it's true. Last day, a tree fell on him and he didn't even had a scratch. Made me extremely worried, though.

He saw some of the things that went on and not others but did notice the pony with chaos magic swirling around him and this did indeed interest him and unlike most ponies he really did not believe in good or evil magics he himself had used dark magic and necromancy on occasion despite both being considered evil, although necromancy did let him draw magic from gems and enchanted items quite easily as well as being able to leach life from living things.

Catklang's ear twitched as he heard somepony else approaching the cottage. He jumped in the air, shifting back to his normal pony self.

 

Someone is coming. For Fluttershy's cottage, so many visitors outside the other bearers of harmony is quite rare.

 

He looked at the hooded pony that was approaching and his ears twitched in interest.

"Clam down Missklang, you never know if they might adopt an animal, or just want to talk to Fluttershy, so don't worry." Luna was trying to clam him down, and not have him worry to much. Luna looked at Indicus, not knowing what to do, or what to say to this pony.

I hadn't heard of those studies for decades now. I do however posess a necroponycon in my personal library... But creating life is way more interesting then to reanimate dead.... I just hope Fluttershy don't hear all of this...

Well I have a few errands to run like giving some meat to Fluttershy for her carnivorous friends. Then a couple other things but we will have to meet up at some point.

Luna went to a different part of the cottage, carrying the bags of bird food. She remembered where they go, then decided to help more. It wasn't much, just a little bit of cleaning, she didn't mind though. Cleaning up after the animals won't take long, just have to sweep up any food on the ground.

Sure thing. Of course. Just saying, if you were to use it to summon Cthulhu or some other stuff I would take no responsibility. Heh. Just joking. They were indeed nearly all destroyed. After all, the sun princess didn't want her precious subjects to study such dark things.

Luckily I managed to save one right before they were all burned down. Well, I won't bother you any longer. Good day. I hope we meet again.

 

On that, he left Indicus and trotted to the other room to find Luna.

Luna grabed a broom and started sweeping the floor. She wanted to make sure to get rid of all the dust, if any sick animals were to rest in the cottage, it wouldn't be the best condition for them. The cleaner the enviornment, the better for the animals. Luna wants only the best for the animals. Everything has to be perfect.

 

"Maybe I can make some treats for the animals. They would be so happy."
