Once all the external mesurements were done, an alien behind what looked like a console pressed a few buttons and the device above Gale sprang into life. The holes on the sides of the machine opened up and several clawed tendrils grew out of the metal. For now, one clamped onto the dragoness's arm while the another attached itself to an area of scales between her back spines, notably where her vertebral column was. With a push of a button, a hole in the center of each tendril opened and a small needle inserted itself into Gale's body. One was meant to draw blood while the other was meant to monitor brain activity through the spine. The only thing Gale could do was wince in pain.

It didn't take long before the scientist, Travelture, and Kyubi arrived at a experimentation room. In relation to Gale's it was down the hall and the second one on the left. As soon as the door was open, the alien broght Kyubi into the room and set her under a hatch in the ceiling similar to the one in Gale's room

Kyubi could tell that from the lack of further motion that she was probably where the scientist was taking her. To be honest, she had no idea what Travelture had in mind when he was thinking up this plan, or where he was anymore. As for what she thought the scientist had in mind, it would either be experiments or conversion. All the aliens seemed like ponies she would find in Equestria, so that was a major possibility.

Travelture slipped out of the room and started checking the other rooms. As he was searching, we met a few aliens, but they didn't even pay attention to him. After a few minutes of searching the room, he found the dragon and two alien scientists. He soundproofed the room, put the gun near the back of the first one's head and shot it, then quickly shot the other one. Then he got started on shutting down the machines.

Gale's eyes widened when she saw one of what she assumed was one of the aliens kill the scientists studying her. She was also relieved when the tendrils attatched to her body retracted. The dragoness felt weak, but she managed to glance at Travelture. "Thanks." She said, giving a slight smile. "I don't want to think of what else they would've done to me."

As soon as Travelture left, the scientist with Kyubi began doing the same things that the scientists with Gale were doing. The only thing was that they were a bit faster with their work and while two tendrils were drawing blood and examining her brain, another pressed the tip of her nose and two smaller tendrils traveled into her body. The scientist also locked the door, so as not to be disturbed.

Kyubi whimpered as the experiments progressed, afraid of what the end result would be. The bat pony was sure that Travelture had left and hoped he could get her out of this after taking care of Gale. "Please, stop." She thought, not wanting to open her eyes. She just wanted to think that this was just a bad dream at this point and that she was probably still in a cell or at home.

Travelture walked over to the door and peeked out to see if any aliens were coming, then he shut the door and said in his original voice as he walked over to the dragon, 

"Are ya okay? Ya might not be able to stand from losing some blood. I don't know how much was taken out of ya."

Gale nodded slightly and tried to maintain consciousness. "Yeah. I'm fine." She said. "I'm just a bit light headed. I think it would be best for me to stay on this thing anyway." The last thing either of them needed was attention.

The alien simply gave Kyubi an emotionless stare and tilted it's head. "It will be ok. You will be free. Soon, all of you will be free." The alien then pressed a button and the three tendrils attached to Kyubi's body retracted. "We have gathered enough information from you." It then pressed another button and a needle attached to a container of silver liquid descended.

Travelture nodded and left, He went back to the room that Kyubi was in. He tried the door but found it locked. He looked around and saw a metal square that was out of place. He walked up to it and pulled it off. there were wires running throughout the place. He changed his finger into a claw and sliced through the wires. The lights went out, then changed it back and placed on the cover.

Gale wasn't really expecting Travelture to leave her, or to cut the power. "Hopefully this works out in the end." She thought to herself. There was little the dragoness could do right now and that was driving her insane.

 

Needless to say, the scientist with Kyubi wasn't expecting the power outage either and gave an annoyed expression. He then calmed himself almost instantly and sighed. "No matter. The backup generators will activate shortly and we can continue." He said.

As soon as Kyubi detected the needle, she was scared. She had no idea what these aliens were planning for her, but it obviously wasn't good. "What do you want from us?" She asked, struggling against her restraints. It was a futile effort, though. She couldn't break free and was as good as dead if Travelture didn't hurry up.

Travelture changed his eyes to see in the dark and tried the door. It opened. He sighed, it must have been on an electronic lock. He slipped in and went  up to the scientist, pulled out the gun and was about to pull the trigger, but he stopped and decided to put a silence spell on the gun. Then he fired it at one of the scientists and at the control panel.

Kyubi finally relaxed as Travelture killed the scientist. Even in darkness, she could still see. "Never do that again." She said, evidently happy to see the only other pony on the ship. "He took blood, measurements, and was going to inject something into me. Did you get the dragoness?"

As soon as Travelture took out the console and scientist, power to the spaceship was restored, if only to the vital components. The lights in the halls and rooms now had an errie red glow and the aliens themselves were on high alert. Bulky aliens covered in black,glossy chitin with long, pointed tails seemed to roam the halls. They were built for hunting and taking down others in a precise manner and put an emphasis on stealth. Some jumped into vents while others crawled on the floor.

 

Gale noticed the immediate change in atmosphere and simply laid on the table she was on, waiting for something to happen.

He said as he grabbed the thing of silver, 

"She's free, I left her in the room. Are ya okay to move?"

He walked over to the scientist and started rummaging of the body. He changed his form to look like the scientitst, hid the body, and walked up to the door. He unlocked the door and quietly opened it to see if any aliens were outside the door

Kyubi shook her head. "I think they did the same things to both of us." She said. "It's a bit hard to walk and my head feels a bit fuzzy." The bat pony then glanced at the machine that was above her and felt a chill go down her spine before turning her attention back to Travelture.

An alien appeared out of the darkness in front of Travelture and seemed to study him for a few seconds, while another entered the same room from an air vent. It then studied the area and Kyubi, making sure that nothing was wrong. As for Gale, an alien entered the room with her and seemed to do the same thing. It then simply left the room.

 

(Yeah, the tables have their own power source. That's why I didn't write Gale being released from the restraints.)

Travelture still had his night vision eyes, but he still almost screamed. He jumped, cleared his throat and said in his alt voice, "Why do ya always do that, when the power goes out." 

He turned around and said at the other one, 

"As ya can see there is no problems here. There might be some problems in the other rooms."

He was figuratively biting on his lip, in worry that he messed up on talking.

Luckily for Travelture, the aliens seemed to believe him and went to search another part of the ship, leaving Travelture and Kyubi to their own devices. For now, they were off the hook. Elsewhere, the same aliens were taking out the same pony/alien hybrids that had abducted the four from the bar.

 

(Yeah, I'm basically slowly turning this into Alien. The movie, I mean.)

Travelture collapsed when they left. After a few minutes, he crawled to the door and shut it, then he laid against the door, smiling. He sighed, his eyes grew heavier with each relaxing breath he took. He curled up and fell asleep, snoring lightly and still disguised as the scientist
