"Umm, nice to meet you?" Nel gave her a nervous smile while awaiting some sort of reply.

"I'm sorry but I believe we have a more pressing matter if you're going to stand here and stare at us." Steady was growing slightly irritated from waiting.

Red contenued smiling. His face felt like it was about burst. He decided that she wasn't going to talk. "Anyway, we were just passing through, so if you could move a little to the side, we'll just pass through, and you won't see me again," he said.

Nel and Steady sidestepped around her with Red in tow.

"What did you do to her Red? It's like she's a damn mute." Nel whispered into Red's ear once they were far enough away.

Instead of entering the court room. The guard leading them took a left turn down a much smaller hall.

"She usually says something," Red whispered back, "Granted, it's usually a tounge lashing. Well, it's kind of a long story. Let's just say she grew attatched to me right before I went out on a romp," he answered.

Steady shook her head to clear it when they were finally stopped and pushed into a small study. A fireplace burned on the other side behind a large desk and office chair. A familiar mane seemingly flowed despite tha lack of a breeze.

Red got up and bowed. Addrinaline still pumped through his veins from both being captured and meeting with the Commander. The seconds felt like minutes as he waited for somepony to break the painful silence.

(For the record, my Internet is down. So I'll be on and off using my phone.)

"Okay," Scarlet said leading the way out the door. After trveling to Canterlot before preforming, she knew the way. "We should have a plan for when we get there," Scarlet said.

"Yeah," Red replied scratching the back of his neck, "It doesn't help that one of these guards already want to take me down."

"Okay, shoot. After all, we've got a ways to walk," Dance says, shrugging.

Strobe was thinking about his tables, the performances he had planned to set up, He groaned inwardly at the thought of sleeping without music blaring through his ears.

The sitting figure spun in her chair and stared at each pony in turn.

"I was wondering when you finally arrive. Please take a seat where you are." All three immediately sat down on the floor.

"Why did you bring us here?" Nel asked with little hesitation.

"I wanted to see the ponies that have been causing such a stir in person that's all. From what I hear you three led that little concert a while back."

(OOC, It can't be Celstia. My one and only request so far. It can't be Celestia. Just saying it now, no Celestia for the moment. I need to keep typig it because other wise it won't post; No Celestia. You can use Luna, idc, but no Clestia. Vinyl has to be correct; Celestia is somewhere in the basement. No Celestia)

Edit: Things have been clarified. Continue.)

Nel tried to come up with an answer but hesitated when Celestia spoke again.

"Don't try to deny it. I see more than what you think. Heck I can see your houses from my bedroom window!" She laughed and took a sip of tea from a small tea set on her desk.

"Then why are we here? We're just a few musicians." Nel finally replied.

"But that's where you're wrong. You're a few musicians that almost upended all of my work with one little concert! I don't like when ponies mess with my plans."

"What kind of plans?" Steady asked with a slightly worried tone. Celestia took one more sip and stood up. She walked to one of the bookcases and pulled a thin booklet out.

"Do you know what the economy has been like since music was made illegal?" She dropped the booklet in front of the three and opened it to a page filled with numbers. Almost every line began with a bright green arrow pointing up... it was a stock record.

"Without music to distract ponies they have been able to focus on more productive things such as their careers. Thus productivity in every area has grown so tremendously that Equestria may never have to worry about financial crashes for centuries to come. If ponies have to give up one luxury for this kind of prosperity I think that is fine."

(Trust me on this)

Rose was busy trying to teach her birds to sing. Fluttershy was helping "Now just point this at which bird you want to sing. Remember, the birds up are High Notes and the ones below are the low ones." "I got this Fluttershy!" Rose was improving better. "Uh oh." Rose did a wrong bird. "That's OK Rose! Mistakes sometimes happen." "I think I have learned enough for a day." "OK then! Run along! Have fun!" "Oh Fluttershy! Your so kind!" Rose ran across the Library.

(Now that I'm back online, I can actually do something.)

"But it's not right," Red said, "It doesn't matter how much money is flowing or how well we live, if you're not happy, life isn't worth living, and music is a way to spread happiness."

"Well, I was hoping you had a plan," Scarlet replied.

"Plan? Plan. Hah, you obviously don't know us very well," says Dancer.

Strobe: "My plan was to level the palace with wubs...." He looks a little bit bummed out at Dancer saying they never had plans. "You just never approve my plans," he says dejectedly.

"But it's not right," Red said, "It doesn't matter how much money is flowing or how well we live, if you're not happy, life isn't worth living, and music is a way to spread happiness."

"That is your belief and you are free to believe it. But the law is what we view is best for Equestria as a whole. The council agreed on the decision unanimously."

"Council? Since when was there a council?"

Nel turned his head in confusion.

"The Council is a group of mortal ponies that have been around almost as long as Luna and I. They were meant to act as advisers until I decided to give them more political powers."

"But why would you do that? That just takes power away from you."

"How I choose government officials is not your business. Now if you don't have anything else to say I suggest you leave."

Scarlet sighed. "Okay, there are going to be a lot of guards around and in the castle. We need to find a way to sneak past them. Maybe one of the side doors will be less guarded than the others. After we get in, we should isolate one of the guards and convince him to take us to them."

"So, that's it?" Red asked, "We break a rule, one of the most enforced rules of the kingdom, and you tell us to leave?" Red shook his head. He's never met the princess before, but he never heard she was so hard headed. "Well fine," Red said, "Do you guys want to leave?"

Dancer shrugs, "Let's get there first and see if there really is something wrong, eh? Dub step here has been wrong before." She rolls his eyes as Strobe kicks the ground, "One time," he says, "You screw up one time, and she digs her hoofs into you."

"You seem to misunderstand. Guards, please escort these three out." The former escort reentered the room and led the three out. Celestia smirked from her desk and turned towards the fire once more.

The trio walked throughout the castle until they reached a small corridor with 5 small cells with heavy iron doors. The guards opened a door at the end to reveal an average sized room with 3 small beds.

"You'll be staying here until the Princess decides what to do with you."

Scarlet raised an eyebrow. These two seem to get on each other's nerves, so why do they stick together? "Right," she said. She continued to walk with them up the road towards Canterlot.

Red sighed and looked out. He tried to fine a familiar face. After quickly giving up, he turned to Nel and Steady. "I'm sorry, guys," Red said, "I should have laid low, but I didn't and ruined it for both of you."

  • 2 weeks later...

"Hey don't worry about it dude. I'm sure we'll find a way out of this eventually!" Nel tried to lighten the mood somewhat with a confident attitude.

(Not too much tonight but I can post a little!)

"Come on, cousin, let's move. Friends are in danger, here," says Dancer, pushing him to make him go faster*

Strobe: "I'm a disc jokey, not an athlete. Why couldn't we take the train?"

Dancer: "Because your an infamous disk jockey. To much publicity on a train, plus security. I can only kick so many flanks."
