Steady was about to close her eyes when a loud banging came from the door.

 

"Ugh, of course they had to arrive now..."

 

(I was wondering... when this RP is over... would it be alright if I edited this into a book and give everyone credit? I feel this is good enough for a story and it would be a good way to chronicle the RP.)

Steady pulled the covers up and began to snooze lightly.

"Glad you're back, Nel," Red said opening the door.

"Thanks, I didn't think we'd be back so soon. Dancer and Strobe decided to go to the house and wait. Is Steady here? Something's happened."

'She's asleep," Red anwered, "What happened?"

"We have somepony she should meet." Nel was all smiles now.

"You don't mean..." Red stopped. He ran torwards the bed. "Steady, wake up," he said in a singy-songy voice and shaking the bed.

Steady shrugged and sat up.

 

"What is it now Re-" Her jaw dropped when Cloud entered the room. All he did was smile as tears formed in her eyes.

 

"Daddy?"

 

"Yes it's me Steady." He opened his arms as Steady rushed up to him, tears falling freely.

 

"I-i didn't think I'd see you again!" She continued to cry yet she smiled as well. Her forelegs wrapped around Cloud's neck as if to never let him go.

 

(Watching MictheMicrophone's AMA stream... it is so freaking funny! xDDD)

Red smiled. "All she could talk about was how she hoped you would find him," Red whispered to Nel.

"I figured it would be my only chance to try and find him." Nel whispered back.

 

"If it wasn't for Nel I don't know if I'd ever find you. It was him who led me here."

 

Steady than wrapped Nel in a hug that was just as tight. "Thank you so much Nel... thank you..."

 

Nel just smiled and hugged her back.

Red moved over to Steady's father. "Hello, I'm Red," he said.

"Oh, nice to meet you, my name's Cloud Flash. Mind I ask how you know my daughter?"

"We're friends," he answered, "We met a few days ago."

"That's nice, thank you for watching her while Nel was saving my flank." Cloud chuckled and patted Red on the back.

"No problem," Red said tipping his hat.

"Well, I'll be at the house Steady. Im sorry to leave suddenly but I need to find something." Steady got up and hugged him once more.

 

"Alright Daddy, I'll be by soon to catch up." Cloud nodded to Nel and Red before leaving.

"I'm so glad you found your father," Red said to Steady.

"I-i don't know what to say... I cant believe he's alive..." Nel knelt down when she fell to her knees and brought his arm around her.

 

"Thank you so much Nel..."

 

"No problem Steady, I just had to try and I got lucky to find him."

Red smiled. He was glad Steady was happy, but something started to loom in the back of his mind. He wondered if Steady was falling for Nel. He figured it would happen sometime, but not this soon.

 

(Even if that's not your plan, it should make something interesting.)

Steady looked Nel in the eye and held contact for what felt like ages. He had done so much for her over the years. Yet even after this she still didn't know what mind of love she felt.

"Well," Red said dryly, "I'm really glad you found him Nel."

"Thanks Red, but will you be alright Steady?"

 

"I think so, I just have a lot of things on my mind. Is it alright if I take a nap now?"

 

"Sure, your dad isn't going anywhere now." Nel smiled and followed Steady to the bed but stopped when Red stood at the other side.
