"Great," Red replied, "We'll help you out if you need it."

 

Red turns to Steady. "We'll take him home, let him have a nap, and we'll have a talk over some black coffee," he whispers to her.

"Thanks I guess." Nel began his way down the street while finishing his drink. He then tossed it into a nearby trash can.

 

"Thanks again for helping Red..." Steady whispered before moving to Nel's other side.

"No problem," Red replied.

As soon as the trio entered the house Nel collapsed onto the couch and fell unconscious. Steady sat down next to him as he slept.

 

"Nel... I'm so sorry..." She wrapped her hooves around him and held him tight.

Red shook his head. He felt guilty. Did his relationship with Steady have to do with this? He pat Steady's back and looked into her eyes. "Don't feel bad," he told him. He tried to tell it to himself too, but it wasn't working as well as he hoped it would work for Steady.

"Oh Red, I dont know what to do..." She held him close when she sat up.

I took a lol session. I wanted to see just how far gone Nel would go xD) It's mean, but I was curious)

 

Drinking. My charecters tend to do that a lot when disappointed. Or turned down. Or having girl problems. Or any problem. And I've never had alcohol in my life xD)

Red let out a sigh. He wasn't for sure what to do either.

Nel began to snore lightly. So Steady got up and led Red to another chair. When Red took a seat she sat on his lap and began humming a tune.

Red began to nod off to the tune. The day's barely half over, but a lot has happened already. He closed his eyes.

Steady began to nod off as well, she never could stay up long and the events that happened didnt help.

Red woke up. Noticing that the others were still asleep, he decided to make some coffee for Nel.

Steady's eyes flutter led open when she noticed Red's absence. She trudged into the kitchen and hugged him for no reason.

"Had a nice nap?" Red asked waiting for the coffee to finish brewing.

[Twinight125 45]

"mhmm" Steady nuzzled his neck from behind.

Red smiled. "Good," he replied.

Suddenly a loud groan could be heard from the living room. "Oh sweet Celestia. What happened last night?"

"More like this morning," Red replied pouring a cup of coffee and re-entering the room, "Steady and I found you intoxicated in an alleyway."

Nel's eyes widened with surprise at first but his look soon changed to horror.

 

"Oh my gosh Im so sorry Steady! I didn't mean for you to see me like that!"

 

"But what were you doing out there in the first place? I thought you didn't drink."

 

"I know, it's just I... needed something to clear my mind. I guess I just couldn't stop after one..."

"I'm sorry Nel," Red said putting a cup of coffee in front of him, "What I did was spiteful. I never considered what your thoughts were."

"I wish I could say it's fine but... I'm just confused on everything. But I know I acted foolishly the other day. I shouldn't have been mad at you or Steady..."

Red nudged the cup of coffee in front of Nel towards him, "Here. Coffee's good for a headache."

"Oh, thanks..." Nel took a sip of coffee.

 

"But I'm really sorry Steady. You must hate me for the way I acted." At that Steady wrapped her hooves around his neck.

 

"I could never hate you Nel. After everything we've been through the last thing I want is to lose you." A tear formed as she spoke.

 

Nel let a smile slip out as he pulled her closer. "Thank you."
