I'm thinking of creating a RP along the lines of an outbreak, world powers lose control, chemical warfare on a mass scale has turned our major hubs to no go zones. Just an end of the world RP without the nuclear part, the nuclear option has been over-used I think and it's time to freshen things up with something new and exciting.

Here a few ideas I just came across with the help of Google.

Robot Ascension

Humanity has reach a robot golden age, and for the next 200 years, it has perfected robotics. But someone didn't like someone else and set up to sabotage the other with whatever means possible. Thus, tempering with the robots and causing them to go on a blood fuelled frenzy on every organic living thing. Suddenly robots all over the world were causing havoc among humanity, who had been living cozy for centuries.

 

Man-Made Disaster

From Global Warming, to creation of a deadly disease intended for our enemies. The spread of a Man-Made Disaster is probably the most common to occur. Widely preventable by us, yet still a thing we pursue to make with the intention of keeping us safe and making others suffer.
