Shadow was getting frustrated now. This was not the time for anyone else to be here, especially not somepony like this one. He used his magic to force the minds of the timber wolves out. When everyone that could be a threat left, he increased the barrier with made it so that nothing could get in or out. "You are catching me on the wrong time kid" he said

"What's the matter?" Shadowrunner taunted "Too tired and weak to do much more then push them out?"

"I thought you would do something more like THIS!"

Shadowrunner kicked an artifact of his at the lead Timberwolf, setting it ablaze as it ran madly, trying to put out the flames, the trees around them catching fire. And another at the bubble, simply making it completely transparent, and unable to shelter the vampires from the sun's fatal rays.

"You should know, daybreak is three minutes from now, and this foliage will be cinders by then." He said as he walked through the burning undergrowth "Good luck corrupting Equestria now." he said as he took flight towards a mountain.

Shadow stopped altogether."Didn't i just say that you were attacking the wrong side you oblivious a$$hat!?" Shadow yelled

"You know, we had turned good. And if you know anything of my kind you should have know sun light does not effect us as it used to. " he said "And if you don't start begging for forgiveness i will find you."

"But, when i'm done comforting my friend, i'm going to find you kid. And when i'm done rearranging your face, you are going to wish you never stepped foot here kid"

 

Shadow let out a sigh, He used magic to eradicate the flames before it could even take out the first set of trees. Rage slowly building up. Star's whimpers were able to snap him out of it. She grabbed onto his legs and stopped moving. seemingly finding a place she can rest and try to wait out the pain. But something felt terribly wrong about her.

 

Shadow placed his wing around her. The camp seemed to of been put back to normal. And the possible threat was gone. The injured Fire and pained Star Berry seemed to have been still in tact so that's always good.. Star appeared 17, the same age he was when he was turned into a vampire. When it appeared Star had fallen asleep, he kept look out in case of the attackers return.

Shadow noticed that Shadowrunner was back. . "And i hold you responsible for the attack of my camp and endangerment of ponies" he said with a slight snarl.

midnight finally got to his hooves and streached, he started moving back to camp, frowning and quickening his pace when he saw the smoke.

Shadow gave the pony a glare. "Blind suspicions are going to get you hurt kid" He said, even if he was the one responsible for the recent deaths.

midnight came around the corner, his now sensitive nose could pick up the smells of a hundered diffrent things, it was a bit overwhelming, but he notcied star was shaking, but she was asleep.

midnight noticed the shield around the camp, then finally shadowrunner, he was the only one outside the shield, so he must be the cause, narrowing his eyes he nocked an arrow and drew the bow to full draw, waiting for him to make a wrong move.

Shadow kept his eyesight on ShadowRunner. This was not something that should be happening right now. He noticed Midnight, seeing that this new pony would be unable to do anything now with Midnight's bow skills, and Shadow magic and barrier.

midnight frowned, "he causing trouble?"

"Yes, i believe he has" Shadow said "He Threatened me, attacked the wildlife, then set the camp on fire" Shadow said

midnight narrowed his eyes, from this distance, he couldnt miss, he knew it, and he knew the other pony did,

Shadow continued to eye the pony. He could not do anything else in case he tried to attack with his back turned.

midnight frowned, something was off about this pony, he was just standing there, so he fired an arrow at the ponies leg, to confirm his suspicion, the arrow sailed straight through, "just a decoy, magic of some sort," he looked it up and down, "a pretty well made decoy, but none the less."

he turned and walked through the shield looking up and adding his magic to the barrier, to keep it up and make it stronger "there..." he smiled, "hows star?"

"Getting better, her transformation seem to be complete for the most part. I'd probably let her rest up for now." Shadow said.

midnight nodded and smiled at her sleeping form, in a friendly way, "well, its nice to have a new friend." he winced hearing something in the forest, something breaking.

"i think i was in the grove too long." he rubbed his head

"What happened out there anyways?" Shadow asked "In the grove."

Midnight frowned, well, ive gone out there twice now, its actually really peaceful, its quiet too, i can just sit there, and clear my head, let my thoughts wander......must have gone into a trance like state," he chuckled, "all day apperently, but when i awoke, long story short my senses are sharper then they have ever been.

"Sounds like a pretty zen place then" Shadow said with a slight grin. Hoping his sense were not 'sharper' for a different reason.

midnight smiled, "i cant even feel my hunger, at all, and no, i didnt hurt anypony, just to let you know." he grinned, "its freaky and cool at the same time."

Shadow was rather intrigued, but decided it was something that was going to have to wait to investigate. It was something that was possible. "I suppose we are going to have to check it out sometime then. But we should probably rest" He said laying down next to Star.

Shadow nodded. Sleep actually found him this night, something that was quite a rare thing to happen to him.

midnight trotted around, he wasnt one to sit still for long, unless he had his nose in a good book or using his archery skills, but thats about it.

he frowned, somepony was coming up the path, he could sense them clearly, he looked behind him at his new friends then made his way out of the shield.

he would need to stall or turn the pony around,
