Sam looked back at Vinyl Scratch. She and her roommate Octavia had been kind enough to give a place to sleep and food to eat. "I'm coming Vinyl, hold on," Octavia said as she backed out of the house, pulling a cello along with her. Sam trotted ahead as Octavia struggled to pull the large instrument through the door. She had been staying here since her second night as a pony, and she had slowly grown accustomed to daily life. Sam had even picked up on the violin a bit, finding that she loved to play music almost more than as she loved to listen to it. When she had been human and dead, music was scarce and she had never had any instruments. "I guess that's just a benefit of living with the two greatest musicians in Ponyville," Sam said to herself. "That's great Corrosion, there was a time i trusted you, but now would not be that time" Star sat down in one of them, her hunger started to get to her, but she couldn't bare the thought of hurting anypony.
