Over the course of the past few weeks lights have been seen in the skies of Equestria. No one knows what their purpose is or why they appear, even the beings hailed as gods are perplexed. One thing is certain, though. When they do appear, anything near them disappears without a trace. Some say it's just a prank being set up by some unicorns or that the lights are the coming of new gods, but most believe that the lights are a threat. Despite this, the annual stargazing event on Mt. Whinnypeg will continue without any interruptions.

Gale sighed as she walked through the forests around the area that had been set up for stargazing. She didn't really spend that much time around ponies, but figured that she could make an exception.every once in a while. She had also head about the recent sighting of lights in the sky, and she was somewhat curious as to what they were.

Travelture stood in the forest, then he changed his skin to a white unicorn and headed to the group. He pulled out his map and started planning his trips. After that, he pulled out a book and started to read until the annual stargazing event started.

Kyubi sighed as she laid on the grass at the top of the mountain. She didn't really come here to look at the stars, but rather to relax. The bat pony had also heard stories about strange lights in the sky, but she didn't really worry about them. If anything, she could just fly away if things went awry.

Gale could see ponies starting to arrive at the site and gave a light smirk. "Looks like a good turnout. I wonder if there are any other dragons." She thought to herself. The dragoness then looked into the sky and closed her eyes, feeling a cool breeze wash over her.

 

Ponies began to set up telescopes and blankets to sit on as stars began to appear in the sky. If only they knew what was hovering miles above them, perfectly blended into the darkness.

After a few minutes of relaxing, Kyubi noticed a unicorn reading a book and decided to pass the time by talking to him. The bat pony then trotted towards the pony and stopped a few inches from where he was. "Hey. Are you here for the stargazing event?" She asked, somewhat curious..

then the unicorn answered "Is somepony there" the noise stopped "Uhh yes?" the thing said "Come out please" the unicorn said "OK" the think said and stepped out,

it was a red unicorn with no mane and glasses "Who are you ponies?" he asked

Travelture looked up from his book and said as he grabbed a bookmark out of his bag and placed in the book,
"Yeah, just wanted to pass the time of being in this place until I go to a new place for a few years. Name's Travelture Balland."

Kyubi nodded slightly and smiled, before sitting down next to Travelture. "My name is Kyubi Yamato, but most just call me Kyubi." She said. The bat pony then did the same and felt a bit weird, like something was off with his fur. She quickly pit that to the side and turned her attention back to the unicorn in front of her. "To be honest, I just came up here to relax. I'm blind, so I can't really we the stars." The bs pony then gave a slight blush from embarrassment and didn't know why she had said that.

Gale glanced at the red unicorn and was somewhat curious about the way he acted. The dragoness then made her way towards him, taking care as to not make a sound. When she was close enough, she decided it would be best to speak. "They're just doing a bit of stargazing." She said. "My name is Gale, by the way."

Belle wondered  around the area where the strange lights were seen. Thinking it would give her knew ideas she decided to go. Plus she liked wondering around in the woods. So she was feeling pretty relaxed while her mind drift. But has soon as she went into a clearing she could see a few strange beings. 

 

Not knowing what to do she just froze, hoping that she would blend in thanks to her fer and main color.

Travelture nodded and said as he rested his front hooves underneath him

"Pleasure to meet ya, Kyubi. That's a little sad, that you're blind, but how do you know where you are going if you're blind and how did you know I was here."

He noticed a creature near the forest trying to hide. He smiled and said,

"You can come on out, no one's going to hurt ya."

 

(I think the clearing is small.)

Kyubi gave a slight smile and knew that Travelture was going to ask that. "I can use echolocation to get a more or less picture of my surroundings in almost every direction." She said. "Having enhanced hearing also helps in my line of work. I'm a musician."

 Belle jumped a little when she heard someone call to her. Since they sounded nice, she slowly walked over to where she heard the voice. When she got close she sew a stallion and a bat pony mare. When she notices the bat pony she looked at her for a few seconds. It's been a while seance she's seen a bat pony. And a very pretty one.

 

But the stallion wasn't bad as well. 

 

Belle still had her mouth covered with her black scarf, so she wouldn't scare any animals while on her walk. When she got closer to the ponies she didn't get too close.

Kyubi glanced at Belle and gave a sligh smile. She had noticed the mare shifting in the trees earlier, but didn't know if she wanted to interact with Travelture and herself. Of course, she didn't know what the mare looked like, so she would have to go off of how she acted. "Hi. Are you here for the stargazing event?" She asked in an attempt to strike up a conversation.

Belle looked to the bat pony mare. Can't help but think about her pretty voice. As she caught herself, she remembered that the bat pony asked her something. She quickly reached into her bag and pulled out her pad and pencil. She then wrote down her reply and held the note out to her. Which said. "Kind of. I heard about the strange lights and I thought I could come up with some new ideas to write."

Kyubi nodded slightly and smiled. "I'm a musician myself, but I honestly hope those lights don't show up. If what other ponies say about them are true, then we could never be seen again." She said, before looking up into the sky. "Granted, I am curious as to what happens to those who see the lights or why they showed up in the first place."

Belle wrote another not before holding it up for the bay pony to read. "I'm a screenplay and script writer. So I'd like to think some of the things you see in films could happen. Like visitors from other worlds.We don't know we might not be alone in the universe. There's plenty of other crazy things that are real. Like I know a pony who eats meat. And you're a bat pony. A very pretty bat pony, but you're a little odd to some who's never met a bat pony."

Travelture got up and said as his body changed back into his original self,

I don't think we all have been properly introduced."

His skin changed from white to grey with white rib marking on his back, a changeling horn appeared, and a travel bag surrounded with a red aura appeared as his cutie mark. He held out a hoof to the new creature as he said, 

"Name's Travelture, and you are?"

Belle flinched lightly when the stallion turned into a changeling. But her, having met a few before. She took his hoose before writing out her name on her pad. "Hello, my name is Belle." Not knowing anything else to write she held her pad close to her chest as she looked in between the changeling stallion and the bat pony mare.

Kyubi couldn't help but feel a slight blush when she 'read' over what Belle had wrote. "Thanks. You have a nice personality." She said, before deciding to tell Belle a bit more about herself. "I think I might as well go ahead and say that I am blind. The only reason I know what you were writing was because of the length of time and sound the pencil produced when it was on paper."

Kyubi glanced at Travelture as he revealed his true form and wasn't really that scared of him. Sure, he was a changeling, but that didn't exactly make him a bad pony.

Belle was amazed to hear that Kyubi is blind. And that she could hear what she was writing. And when she said she liked her personalty, a smile grew under her scarf. She started righting something down. But she moved closer to her so she could hear it better. "That is amazing! You must have really good hearing. I would speak to you but I have a condition where I can't control some of the things I say.

 

I could be speaking normally but then I cut myself off by shouting a bad word. I wrap up my mouth so I can muffle them without having me to hold them in. It's like holding in a sneeze in a way."

Kyubi nodded slightly and gave a slight smile. "It's ok. I understand." She said, hoping to comfort the earth pony. The bat pony then sat on the ground and glanced at the sky. "As for my senses, they've actually been enhanced because of the blindness. I think it's because I have to divert less mental power to my sight, or something iike that. It also helps me look past the appearance of others and see their personality." The bat pony was honestly happy that she met Belle and Travelture. If anything, she had two new friends to spend the night with.

"It's fine, everyone has a problem or two. Take me for example, I hurt really close ponies and creatures by moving place to place. Hope ya don't take offensive if I thought you were mute."

He levitated his bag, pulled out a map of Equestria and marking it

Belle started writing again. "I think you both are very interesting. And I don't might if you thought I was mute. I know how you would think that.  Me working in the film industry you get to meet a lot of strange  ponies.  Mostly because I was looking for new ideas. Maybe I could come up with an idea for a film that has a bat pony and a changeling in it." She gave a muffled giggle.

Kyubi couldn't help but blush more as she noticed the emphasis Belle put on the names of Travelture's and her own species. "I would love to hear about it." She said. The bat pony was curious as to who the earth pony would ask to play the bat pony and changeling roles, but she thought it would be better not to ask.
