"Y-You mean like now? Today? I-I'm not sure if I'm ready for that."

 

He takes a deep breath.

 

"Listen, one day for sure, but ... not sure if today, or tomorrow. I need time, don't want to overdo it. If it's okay with you?"

 

That goes pretty fast. We just met today. I want it too, but I need time.

Mist was surprised but in a good way. He was glad to see that Rising was in this for more than just Mist's body. That's not to say Mist wouldn't have rocked his world if he said yes. "If you want take things slow that's fine by me," he said happily, "I'm happy to go at whatever pace you want."

"Thank you. I really appreciate that. But you need a place to sleep and I need to clean my guest room, not often guests that stay, so usually filling the room with stuff full, like books and all. So how about some cuddling in my bed? Snuggling and falling asleep. Sounds cute to me."

 

He yawns again, walking to the stairs.

"Sounds romantic," Mist said lovingly as he followed Rising up stairs. The truth was he'd never actually cuddled with anyone. Most stallion he had dated were all or nothing. And Rising was the first to not want to get too intimate. So Mist was excited to see what it was like.

Rising stretches again, before walking upstairs to his sleeping room. He opened the door and walks in. As probably guessable, the room looks like a normal room for sleeping, just with more books in it.

 

"Welp, that's my sleeping room. The toilet is on the opposite from this room."
