gaming Disappointed by the lack of Pokemon g1 events?

So with pokemon red, blue, and yellow released for the 20th anniversary on 3ds, was anyone expecting some of the old Pokemon exclusive events of g1 to be released, too?

Like surfing or flying Pikachu? Or Dragon Rage Magikarp, even?

Such a disappointment.
