Trying Something New With My OC.

<---- It may or may not be my avatar already.  :smug:

Semi-realism was fun and all, but vectoring is completely and entirely different. I think I like it more, because it has the potential to be animated. I CAN SEE THEM COME TO LIFE.

Well anyway, enough of my incipient ramblings. Here's the art. It's my OC, Tinker. I, like WoodenToaster, much prefer the anatomy of the female ponies. The curves are just way more fun to do.

Critiques are always welcome. (thats kinda how we artists improve)

Whoa, that looks so freaking awesome!! I wish I could draw like that! The pose and the expression on his face are so awesome!!!

But I have one thing, I can't help but notice that the back part of his body looks a bit flat. Don't get me wrong, it's really really really good but that could maybe make it even better :kindness:

I always accept critiques, but the style is inspired by the paper ponies design, so the back part is supposed to look like it was a flat piece of paper (from what I understand anyway). I'm not sure I could make it look any better, because that's just a part of the style. I do greatly appreciate the help though.

It's a girl by the way. ^_^

Holy Horse Feathers!!! This is simply fantastic!! You have done a wonderful job! :kindness: I love the colors and the way you did the hair. It is a very different technique, the flat paper look, but it is very well done.

Thanks, I went through a few different color combos, but blue certainly looked the best with the outfit.

I also came to praise this wonderful piece of art! The lineless style looks so great and the colors include many of my favorites as I'm a fan of blue hues. She has a lovely mane style too.
