skysweep 541 May 30, 2016 Share May 30, 2016 Hi there. Just wanting to ask a quick question to all those brave bronies serving in the military. Just a little check. Do you guys have that time in the morning where there is a dorm inspection or stand by bed or something along those lines, with the sergeant finding one speck of dust and flipping everything from beds to lockers, including you all upside down? If so, what do you call it? Any country is fine. I'd like to see the perspectives.
JonasDarkmane 19,785 May 30, 2016 Share May 30, 2016 @@skysweep Hey there As your questions have less to do with discussing aspects from the fandom and more about the general (as it seems to be a question aimed to the people on this site in general), I have moved this topic over to the more appropriate section where you will hopefully receive your answers . 1 Signature by @Kyoshi Ask Me Matsunaga Hisahide's death https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKT5Khp3-0U

Bunk/room inspections When you are in boot camp or in your first school after you graduate boot camp it happens a bit more often. However, from my experience, they don't flip out, you just points marked off and you can lose privileges such as going out in town, stuff like that. Once I got to my duty station though, it happened very rarely, and they wouldn't do it with me in the room, more often than not they would do it while I was working, and then leave a note if it passed or not. Solid 1,327 June 1, 2016 Share June 1, 2016 I'm not in the military but I think this is something that is more common during the first weeks of basic training, or the red phase as some call it.
Shadowrunner 41 June 1, 2016 Share June 1, 2016 That mostly stops at boot camp and more so after itb (Infantry training battalion) After that it varies, some sergeants like to check literally every where and others just make sure it is clean. We call it Field day (I mop with straight bleach, mine is clean)

Stardust* 3,302 June 1, 2016 Share June 1, 2016 It doesn't really stop 100% after boot camp. Just less often, and less vigorous. Stardust My Art My Non-Pony Art Ask A Pony
