Basically, would have the same design as the 2DS but with some changes, such as the Start and Select buttons being horizontally placed, the C Circle Pad located under the XYAB buttons, and the Z buttons located on the back of the console. The 3DS H- (Hingeless) is pretty much a 2DS with 3D, for those who like the 3D feature but also find the 2DS to be much more comfortable. The 3DS H- would also be less "plasticy".

So is this like an idea then? I personally think they should make a 3DS without the 3D. While the design of the 2DS is actually not bad to hold, I don't like how the screens are constantly exposed.

Its an idea of mine, and my idea is all New 2DS/ New 3DS H-'s will come with a cover that you put on the front of the console when not in use.

 

I just dont like the idea that Nintendo is basically leaving behind those people who enjoy the design of the 2DS, because we all know that eventually all future Nintendo 3DS games are gonna fully utilize the new features and processing power of the New 3DS's. Like, for example, they may make Super Mario Sunshine 3D, which will use the right nub for the camera.
