Will this get comparisons to the Lego Movie should the reviews be good?

I feel like this will be the same thing where a movie that is essentially a product placement movie turns out to be a smartly written and highly entertaining delight.

I don't think the movie is going to get the same kind of attention that The Lego Movie got.

Mainly due to being a film about a cartoon series getting sent to the big screen and for all intents and purposes could just be a 90 minute episode of the show.

I just wait and see. Because i feel like putting this movie on a pedestal with other animated movies, will just lead to dissapointment.

But if it gets 90+ on RT then it could be the same story. It's not like I'm comparing the attention to Frozen or anything.
