ManaMinori 4,145 June 28, 2016 Share June 28, 2016 G1 Flutterponies were last seen in g1 (g3 and g4 Breezes are not Flutterponies), and they never interacted with seaponies. Since the movie is bringing back the weapon concept (or rather, mermare), do you guys think we'll be seeing Flutterponies brought back, and getting to team up with the seaponies that the mane 6 become in the movie, in some epic water air combo against the villain? 1 Under the Jellicle Moon- a site with cuteness, cat boys, and comic strips / Star Dreams Fanclub

Leave a Whisper 703 June 28, 2016 Share June 28, 2016 No. Why would they be? Hasbro doesn't seem to be big on bringing back every species within a single gen. They get stingier every year.
cmarston1 5,959 June 28, 2016 Share June 28, 2016 I don't really think that they will appear in the movie.
Unlikeable Pony 2,698 June 28, 2016 Share June 28, 2016 I doubt it, for a very specific reason. The Flutterponies niche in the species was being the fairy type of ponies, in their design and appeal. But we have the breezies now in the show that somewhat steal that niche spot, since they're already filling the merchandise spot for fairlike ponies. Because of this, them reintroducing the breezies would feel redundant from a merchandising point of view. And their story position of being a race of ultra powerful magical ponies living in seclusion is kind of already filled by the alicorns (assuming they didn't just all die off and there's still some out there somewhere), so I don't think they have a real plot requirement.
