Viktor was walking next to his soldiers. Each step radiated authority, and the soldiers stood stiff like monuments. Viktor spotted a recruit looking his way, and once they made eye contact he looked away. “WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU LOOKING AT?!” Shouted Viktor at the recruit, and he instantly froze. He smiled for himself, and shouted “AT EASE. YOU ARE DISMISSED FOR TODAY” The soldiers instantly slumped down, and let out sighs of relief.

It was a cold day here in Moscow. But it was beautiful nonetheless. Suddenly a messenger approached him, and snapped a salute. Viktor nodded “At ease” The messenger nodded, and handed him a letter. It was from the lead general. He opened the letter and read the contents inside.

 

Dear General Viktor Chaniev.

I, and the Finish general have discussed about forming a new force. It is called the “Winters Bite” We have decided to assign you as a general for this squad. However, I have a surprise for you this time around. Joining you as a general, will be the “Finish Devil” She also has powers like you do, so I expect great things from this force.

Amelia sat in front of the buss she had gotten message from Finnish government itself go to Moscow and join with Russian general, she was told that this general, Chaniev, also has powers and that cooperation is crucial. She had squad of 30 soldiers, she tried to get more but transporting was problem.

 

As they arrived into army base she announce in loud voice to microphone of the buss. "Aright, we are at our destination and speak English from this point forward!". "YES, MA'AM!" Squad responded while part of them was just waking up. Normally she would give warning or small punishment from sleeping in duty but she couldn't blame them, they had been driving 15 hours straight from Helsinki to Moscow. 

 

Buss stopped and Amelia walked out into freezing air and took her mask off....

I DO NOT KNOW HOW MANY SOLDIERS SHE BROUGHT, BUT I WANT YOU TO GUIDE THEM TO THE BARRACKS, AND MAKE SURE THEY ARE INFORMED OF WHERE THE ARMORY AND SUCH IS. UNDERSTOOD?!" Shouted Viktor. The soldiers in complete sync, saluted "DA GENERAL." Viktor held up his hand in a "and..." Gesture "Make sure to speak english." Added Viktor, as he turned around and headed for the buss.

 

When he arrived, he saw quite the attractive girl. Who he could guess from her uniform, was the general. He walked up in fron of them, and saluted "Welcome to Moscow miss. I'm general Chaniev" Said Viktor and extended his hand for a handshake

Amelia didn't know what she thought Chaniev would look like but she was surprised positively when she saw him. She saluted and shook hands with Viktor. "Nice to meet you general Chaniev and thank you, I'm general Lahti, and this is my squad" she said pointing towards soldiers slowly coming out of the bus one by one.

He turned around "I believe that you want to know where your quarters is, yes?" Asked Viktor, he noticed her mask but didn't comment on it

Amelia's eyes met Chaniev's but she just kept scanning the area and didn't think that as anything else than coincidence "Gladly. please, show the way." The cold weather felt freezing, but it was only natural since she had just came out from warm buss so her body took short time to adjust to the cold weather. She watched Chaniev's squad guide her squad around the base. "Your squad looks like good soldiers."

Viktor nodded "They are. Poor bastards all lost their family, so i took it upon myself to teach them manners, and make sure that they can find a family through each other" Said Viktor, as he opened the door for her. "After you miss" Said Viktor with his ever present neutral face.

"Thank you general. I appreciate it." Amelia said and nodded gently as she walked through the door Viktor was holding.

"So, might I ask what happened, or is that secret information?"

Viktor was silent for a second "It is not secret information, however i'm not going to tell you, for the simple fact that it isn't my place to say it, and i respect my soldiers inner demons." Said Viktor simply and walked ahead. Closing the doors as he got inside.

"I have heard rumors that you are really strict leader, is that true?"

"Resources? Those who think that of the men that throw their lives on the line from your orders, do not have the right to have the rank of a general" Said Viktor, geniunely disgusted. He then let out his first chuckle "A strict leader eh? I just make sure that the soldiers don't go rushing in, with their assasult rifles spraying all over the place. I prioritize using the brain above all else"

Amelia noticed Victor chuckling for her question and figured the he had heard it before.

"Chain is no stronger than its weakest link, and brainless soldiers makes things harder" "We have similar vision for what is important I see, good, it makes cooperation easier." She said with satisfied smile, it certainly made everything easier.

Amelia noticed Victor chuckling for her question and figured the he had heard it before.

"Chain is no stronger than its weakest link, and brainless soldiers makes things harder" "We have similar vision for what is important I see, good, it makes cooperation easier." She said with satisfied smile, it certainly made everything easier.

 

Viktor got back his cold face and nodded "Indeed. Tactics above brute force. That is my style of fighting." He walked a bit in silence, before his curiousity got the better of him "I've heard that you have powers. Is that true?" Asked Viktor. He sincerely hoped it wasn't just an overhype

Amelia turned her eyes towards victor "Yes, it certainly is true, but they are bit a pain to explain, and I understood that you have powers too, is that right?" Her expression was now little bit more serious but still had it's usual friendliness as she waited Victor's answer. She hoped that she hadn't been lied to since that wouldn't surprise her.

Her expression was now little bit more serious but still had it's usual friendliness as she waited Victor's answer. She hoped that she hadn't been lied to since that wouldn't surprise her.

Viktor broke out of character relieved laugh "Oh thank god. Those higher ups always tell me that my next partner will be someone with powers, but everytime i get one, the craziest power they have is farting at command" Said Viktor, he cleared hus throat, and like a switch he turned back to general mode "Yes, i always have a power. No idea how i got it, but i somehow got it"

Amelia turned her head towards Victor when he started to laugh and then stopped and returned to cold face like nothing happened.

She was little bit amused by sudden changes."Yes, Higher ups has this bad habit to give wrong information, sometimes the other side doesn't even know that someone is coming."

Viktor simply nodded. He could tell that she was a friendly person. It wasn't a facade, like his. It also made him wonder how she would act outside her uniform, but that was something he would find out once he knew her better. They arrived outside a decently sized room, and Viktor spoke up "This is your quarters. I live on the opposite side" Said Viktor and nodded towards his room:

"Aright" Amelia walked inside the room and looked around. "You have comfortable and spacious rooms here." She said as she threw her backpack into corner of the room. "So, what's next, do I get tourist tour to the base too or is there something else?" She asked the question with a voice that almost sounded like she was telling a joke.

"So, what's next, do I get tourist tour to the base too or is there something else?" She asked the question with a voice that almost sounded like she was telling a joke.

Viktor rolled his eyes, wasn't she quiet the jokester? "You wish. Unless you can convince the staff, you're on your own. I'll be busy doing some reports, and making my rounds. Plus, i also have a meeting. So with that, i wish you a good day miss" Said Viktor as he slowly closed the doors.

She took out her weapons and and started checking them in case there was anything that needed fixing or cleaning up, and when done, she started cleaning and oiling them up anyway. " I familiarize myself with base later." She thought as she worked with her weapons and started humming. "I have a whole day"

Viktor sighed. What he said back there was no lie unfortunately. So he had to move his sorry ass over to his room, and start writing. "I wish that i were a recruit again" Muttered Viktor as he steeled himself and entered the room of doom. He cracked his knuckles, and got straight to work

Viktor stretched after he was done with the report. He wanted to trains soldiers, not sitting behind a desk typing away at a PC. Why didn't they hire office workers for stuff like this? He then got a message. It told him to meet up at the lead generals office, and to bring the other general with him.

 

Viktor walked out of the room, and knocked on her door "We need to go now. Finish up whatever you are doing now"

Amelia had finished her work just seconds before she heard knocks on her door and then heard Victor's voice. She folded the papers and put them in her pocket and opened the door. "Aright, where are we going, it sounds like it's something really urgent." She said as she walked out.

Viktor shrugged "I have no idea what he wants. But if he calls we come. If he says jump, we ask how high. Simple as that" Said Viktor as he walked down the hallway. He had a headache from all the writing, so he massaged his temples while they where on the way to the office
