He had to stand up for himself. He wasn't going to follow this mad mare's path. Her saying it like it was going to happen placed an ember of fury in his heart. The moment she began to lift him, this fury grew, how dare she? He wasn't her toy or test subject. His unicorn magic kicked in to bump his alicorn power, using a disabling technique that covered his body with grey glyphs, dispelling the magic she was using on him and catching himself on his legs. "No, I think this is where our nonexistent partnership ends. I am ice, clear, cold, solid and sharp, piercing and harsh... Hostile against the weak and sheltered, and right now, you." Usually he didn't lose his composure this way, but behind his eyes a war he no knowledge of was being fought, and his pupils dilated with the hostility of one side.

She blinked at his sudden hostility, "Interesting, very interesting. Levitating makes you tick" she remarked. She examined the grey glyphs and touched one with her hoof, before smiling, "Well you might be ice, though I am death, come embrace me" she giggled, her horn glowed black and she raised a shield around herself before taking to the air. She decided to attack him from the air, that was better, she flew high into the air and past where he was positioned, she blasted a circle around him before blasting him with a small black beam, she circled around for a second attack.

As she went to touch his glyph he backed away and combat was being led into. As she took to the skies with a shield formed around her, the ice feathers of his wings grew, since he wasn't good in the air he needed extra support. As the circle of black magic forming around him and a beam coming from up front, he decided to take the singular beam head on. He pushed into the skies with great speed and the beam tore against his body. Given the power of an alicorn made glyph, it had merely numbed his body and given him minor bleeding cuts, but he flew through it, straight for her with all his might. Frost accumulating on his body. He hoped she still underestimated him. There was little sign in the heat of battle that this was anything more than a mid air tackle.

Twilight Shadow smirked, she fired off a second charged beam at him before deciding to go onto the offensive as well, she charged her horn until it was glowing, then sped towards him, she dropped her shield and instead formed a triangle beam in front of her , hoping to pierce him head on with it, she felt the power off the beam infront of her, though it only went ahead of her by a meter, it was packed full of her death magic. She was ready to drain the life out of this pony and finally disrupt some of the balance in the world, she was very pleased by her own cunning. 

 

Then she paused, if she actually did manage to kill this pony, then it would be easier for those hunters to hunt the remaining Alicorns down, including her. She removed her death ray and began charging her power, getting ready to teleport herself and this water element to Copper, he would know what to do

Before she, or her second beam could strike him, his body and horn became engulfed in a massive multi shard of ice. For this split moment, he believed her death magic would be able to hit him, or destroy enough of the ice to actually neutralize the attack, but the very next moment afterwards, he teleported and was suddenly heading towards the ground in the forest again. As he struck the ground, a huge towering mas of ice shards erupted form him and the ground. This was too unexpected, and so he remained in the ice, gathering his environment and bearings on the situation.

She released the energy surrounding them both in a black void as she began the transportation process. the blast killed every living thing within a mile of the telportation zone.S he growled as it was more difficult then she had presumed to actually teleport. Finally she located where Copper was, he was moving so it made it much trickier she eventually did the large task of teleporting them, she blasted though the canopy along with her other element bearer, she landed infront of Copper blinking. "I brought the Water element here" she remarked. She felt drained after using that much magic.

 

Her head was still spinning like she was flying upside down, she needed to recover, and the best way was to find something to eat. She looked around spotting a small lizard on a rock, that will do she thought as she levitated it over to herself, she twisted it around and used her fangs to first drain the blood from the lizard, after she had fully drained it she tossed the lifeless animal to the floor, she felt steady on her hooves again, though that small snack wouldn't fill her for long.

 

She gave Copper a blood smile, it still wet along her fangs and teeth. "Any luck with the other element bearers?" she asked. "If you don't want the water one, can i eat him?" she queried.

Copper looked over to see Twilight and the water element.  He shook his head, saying, "Haven't looked yet, but I will soon."  He gave her a stern look.  "Our agreement includes not killing the other alicorns, so I'm afraid I can't let you eat him.  But I will take him."

 

He turned to the water element.  "Come with me, we need to find the other elemental alicorns in order to bring balance to Equestria."  He then trotted to the direction of the river.

She shakes her head, "he doesn't want to join us, just hide in a ocean. Can i eat you?" she asked Copper. She moved towards him, Copper was a much better meal then this water element. She moved closer to Copper, her eyes displaying there hunter, she just wanted a small nibble, just a bite would suffice, she showed her fangs and closed towards Copper.

She hadn't lied about the other one, but he still didn't agree with what ever they wished to do. And the one telling him what to do made it even worse. Like they knew what was best for the world. What, bloodshed. Celestia and Luna would've seen to it if that truly was the way. And so to the demand of the Alicorn, he responded, "No. I will not come with you. She is a murderer, you are a murderer, and anypony else whom joins you to indiscriminately kill those whom hunt us will only make you even more of villains in the eyes of all pony kind. No thank you."

Copper raised an eyebrow at the water element, before responding, "I have no intentions of murdering ponies, and my plan will be for the best for all us alicorns if we go with it.  My team will hunt for a way to bring peace to Equestria, while her team distracts the alicorn hunters."

 

He then gave a confused expression at Twilight, before backing up.  "Uh, why do you want to eat me?"

Twilight Shadow smiled, "I like eating ponies, well mainly drinking there blood anyway. You can't live without that though" she remarked she blinked, she also reason was to eliminate the only other pony that could defeat her in battle. She blinked her ears twitching, she heard something far off, she resumed staring back at Copper. "I'm going to eat Leafy, or at least kill her after we are done here" she promised.  

 

She glanced at Copper and snorted, "Who are you to change this world? Silly Boy!, No one needs to hear you're words. Let it go" she hissed she advanced on Copper, "I do not need a team, I am powerful enough. I will destroy these Alicorn hunters, and I won't need the help of splash here, thank you very much, or leafy for that matter" she growled. She glanced around and opened her wings, though she was incomplete yet she knew how to fix this. 

 

Twilight Shadow opened her wings black as night and smirked at Copper, "Assemble the others, I am incomplete, and need to regain what I've never had" she said mysteriously, she then leapt into the air and flew towards the direction of Canterlot or what used to be Canterlot.

Regenerating in his spire of ice, he approved of them not killing the alicorn hunters, but believed the alicorn standing before him was much too naive. He adressed his other concerns, "First, you must understand that having her on any aspect of this goal is going to result in bloodshed, plain and simple. She will kill the hunters, along with anypony else she feels like killing, which is everypony." He gave her a pointed stare, "She will never be anything more than a murderer. If you believe anything otherwise then I don't know why I am having this dispute with a foal." He didn't care if he upset her, and chances were that this wouldn't, however he knew the truth of the horrid heart within her, "Second, I don't plan on doing what's best for me. I still serve the one true Equestria and if ponies are unable to find my power, they will stop killing and dying for it. So you can go search for answers that may not even exist, be my guest." He was pretty solid on his side of the dispute, seeing copper as a flailing yearling without any idea of what to do. "You better remain wary, you are teamed up with a monster."

A few miles away from the lake, several early store clerks and buyers gazed up at the darkening clouds, sensing something was wrong with the weather, several cursed the Elemental Alicorns that had apparently appeared throughout Equestria shifting the balance of the world, though many just blamed the weather. This was the first mistake.

 

Twilight Shadow had traveled throughout Equestria, she had seen the crystal empire's spike wall protecting there greatest treasure. She had traveled to the border of the Changelings empire, though hadn't gone into it, since death was only what awaited those that dared venture inside without being a Changeling and also into the darkest places looking for what belong to her former namesake, she had failed in this task, and this failure disturbed her to the core. She needed what she sought, with impunity, she landed within the village, glaring at the startled and hostile glared from the village ponies there. She glanced around her gaze falling on what she had come for. She trotted forward glaring at the mayor, she had already began draining the town as she approached, now her magic was taking its toll, several unicorns horn glowed, and she felt a dull thud hit her shield, she flicked her ear irritated.

 

"Where are they" she growled at the mayor, she smirked as he told her, or more accurately, babbled about what he knew. She had that effect on ponies, especially when they feared her, and today was a day of fear. After she had extracted every tidbit of information, she sunk her fangs into his neck and drained his blood swiftly.

 

The majority of ponies tried to run away from her, she allowed that to happen, though any that were either too slow or resisted, she drained there blood from there corpse. She tossed down the last lifeless body and glanced around at her carnage, she had managed to kill several of the townsfolk and fed upon them, she wouldn't need to feed for awhile yet. She decided to return back to the group, perhaps Copper had found the other ponies by that time.

Out from an alley, after the attack but before she could leave, stepped out from the shadows of an alley. It was a hooded figure, the cloak it donned bearing the same grey glyphs that Amarok had used to dispel Twilight's magic before. Probably the reason why the figure wasn't dead. It was a large figure, big for a pony. Then, from behind her another hooded figure, smaller and with a horn. A multitude of gem shards with machine parts floating around it's form. They didn't speak. The larger one advanced, stepping forward with heavy footfalls, and a small dot of red light appeared in a window across the street as well. It could be told, these weren't hunters that took prisoners. This was a death unit. The intent to kill painted across a canvas of indistinguishable features and woven silence.

Twilight Shadow glanced towards the figure, she frowned that her magic hadn't kill it yet. Though she pushed more power into her magic glancing at the grey glyph's on its cloak. She smiled this would be a rather interesting battle. She glanced behind her seeing a second smaller form, interesting, this was a death squad which was meant to kill threats such as her. She laughed, her evil chuckle bouncing around the deserted village. Her form glowed as she opened her wings, she harnessed both her elements, she would indeed need them for this battle.

 

"You wish to fight with the death element?" she queried to the larger one, "You wish to destroy the balance of the world?, You think egotists like yourselves have a right to actually challenge me? You have the audacity to try and harm a being so far above you?" she growled, she smirked lashing out with her magic at the smaller figure behind her, though she took care not to actually harm it in-case it was a trap. She instead forced the air around it to compress forcing it to move away from her. She then focused on the larger pony in-front of her.

 

"you're glyph's protect you from my direct magical attacks, though they are useless against physical attacks. I've dealt with these glyph's before. If you manage to strike me down, I will become stronger then you will ever know" she growled giving him a final warning.

Well, that would be better than nothing. And as of right now, Summer had no clear idea where she would go if she were to turn down the stallion's offer. Perhaps she could go up and hide in the clouds for a while, but that would hardly be comfortable for a pony used to her hooves on the ground, and she'd have no means to get food without venturing down to the ground and risk being spotted. The pony's suggested hiding place sounded a little better, at least.

 

"Thank you for your kindness... I may not be able to stay there too long, but it is certainly better than nothing," said the alicorn of nature with a soft smile on her face.

"No problem Miss... um I should probably ask, do you have any alicorn friends you'd like to take along? I mean its a crazy idea that there would be more then one Alicorn here, but I should still ask" he looked around him a bit nervously, hoping to something they'd be in the clear for a while longer

The pony behind her flew back a few meters at the blast and recovered expertly, landing on it's hooves, it's gem shards  heading into the space around it, sparking with magic as the unicorn figure rose into the air in magical concentration. The large figure began to sprint towards Twilight, it's heavy footfalls impacting the ground enough to shake it slightly. The red dot in the far window suddenly flashed and a large, winged, and covered in a sickly poison javelin shot from there, heading towards her at breakneck speeds. The remained silent, and showed no indication that they had any interest in what she was saying.

Twilight Shadow levitated several large bolders which was rubble from a nearby house she had destroyed previously. She clumped them together and used that to shield herself from the javelin, deflecting it away from herself. She decided not to use magic to directly affect the javelin since it was probably shielded against such a attempt. She then flung the rubble towards the building that had fired it at her. She opened her wings and prepared for the large figure sprinting towards her.

 

When he was several meters she pivoted to her left and blasted him with magic, she began using her death magic on him seeing if that would have any effect.
