The following is a poem-a message to Nightmare Moon from her sister. I actually wrote this last minute for English class; it turned out better than expected so I decided to post it here, enjoy.

 

No Regrets

 

Tell me, dear sister

What goes through your mind?

Do you regret your actions?

Do you wallow in self-pity?

Do you blame me?

Do you blame the rest of the world?

 

Tell me, dear sister

Do you miss the people who once revered you?

Do you miss the family that once loved you?

Do you even remember who you once were?

Do you cry for yourself?

Do you weep over your fate?

 

Tell me, dear sister

Do you hate me now?

Do you hate me for what I did?

Do you curse the day of my birth?

Do you wish it were me instead of you?

Do you wish me dead?

 

Tell me, dear sister

Is it cold where you are?

Is it lonely?

Does the darkness get to you?

Do you know why you live in exile?

Do you understand why you suffer?

 

Know this, dear sister

I am sorry that you forced my hand

I am sorry that you chose anger

I am sorry that you chose envy

But I am not sorry for your exile

I am not sorry for what I did
