Gentle shakes her head in disgust as she looks at her husband. "You see, Quick? Nopony wants to take your side. While it was an accident, you clearly weren't thinking of your actions and/or consequences. You act like a little foal, that you just can't act like an adult, or a father towards your own son." She turns around and grabs her towel. She wraps the towel around her and starts to head into the manor. "W-Where are you heading, Gentle?" She doesn't stop walking, as she replies, "I'm going to see my son." She stops briefly, before glancing slightly at her husband. "You know something, Quick? Sometimes...Sometimes I wonder why I married you in the first place." She then walks over to Candy and helps her friend up. "Are you okay, Candy? I'm really sorry you had to witness all of that. Let's get going. We can get Orange and we can visit Dynamo. Can you help us find the infirmary, Night?" She asks as the three made their way into the manor.

 

Quick just stood there in absolute silence. He couldn't help in hearing Gentle's words repeating in his mind. He slowly walks over to the pool chair and places his head in his hands. He takes a deep breath and exhales slowly. "Hey, Chocolate? Did I really mess up that badly? Was Gentle right in everything that she said?" He says as he lifts his face up to look at Chocolate in the eyes.

Let's get going. We can get Orange and we can visit Dynamo. Can you help us find the infirmary, Night?" She asks as the three made their way into the manor.

Candy nods as she, Gentle and Night made their way to Orange's room. There was a strange sound of barking and howling coming from the room. Candy rushes in and gasps "ORANGE! NO!" She screams as she rushes to a barely moving body of Orange. In her hand was a razor and there was blood dripping from her wrists into a pool of blood.

 

Night quickly uses her magic to grab her and runs her to the infirmary "NURSE! WE HAVE A SUICIDE ATTEMPT!!" She yells out

 

Chocolate simply sighs and doesn't say much but "We've got to grow up old friend. This was a.." he hears Night's shouting "s..suicide..N..no!" He rushes to the infirmary "ORANGE! ANGEL! B..BUT WHY"

As they see the fallen form of Orange on the ground, they see Night pick her up with her magic as they rush to the infirmary. As the doctors hurry and try to stabilize the unicorn mare, Gentle slumps to the floor, with tears in her eyes. "Why do things like this keep happening? W-Was it my fault? A-Am I to blame for what just happened?" She asks as she hesitantly looks up to to her two friends.

 

Quick couldn't help, but nod at Chocolate's words. "I-I guess you got a point, old friend. I just didn't think things would spiral out of control like that." He was cut off from his thoughts as he heard shouts of terror, from within the manor. He quickly follows Chocolate, as the two rush to the infirmary. "Why would Orange do something like this. It just doesn't make sense. First our son and now Orange. I just hope the two of them will be okay." He says as he rests his head against the Plexiglas and sighs.

Night just sighs "I think you scolding her before is what did it, Gentle. We know you meant well but you have to remember, she has a disability and takes everything to heart"

 

Chocolate punches the wall in anger and frustration "THIS CAN'T HAPPEN!?" he exclaims as he watches as Orange is hooked up to a intravenous machine drip and the surgeon stitches up her cuts.

Gentle's eyes shrink in shock as she heard Night's statement. "T-Then...this is all my fault. I just wasn't thinking at all. If I hadn't kept my anger under control, then..." Her train of thought was cut off as Quick placed a hand upon her shoulder. "It's not your fault, Gentle. You had every right to be angry. I should have paid more attention to my actions, instead of acting like a little child. It looks like we are both at fault right now. All we can do now is wait and hope that she'll pull through."

 

Gentle nods and wraps her arms around Quick's neck. She cries silently as she embraces him tightly. "S-Should one of us check up on Dynamo to make sure he's doing okay? I'm not sure if we should tell him what happened to Orange." She looks to her best friend and husband a little fearfully. "Candy? Chocolate? I-I'm really sorry. I'm just so scared and lost right now." She says as she tries to wipe the tears from her eyes.

Chocolate simply just shakes his head and places a gentle hand on her shoulder "It isn't your fault dear, it is easy to forget in the heat of the moment" he says but then looks to his wife who was holding Orange's hand and sobbing into her fur. He walks over to her and places a hand on her shoulder, he looks down to her "She'll live. She has to, she's got a wedding to attend to, and t-two foals to r-raise"

 

Snowpaw softly nuzzles into Orange's chest and whimpers and whines

 

Night looks at Gentle "W-when Candy told me tha-that Orange w-was having p-problems, I d-didn't know i-it was that bad" she goes over to Orange "P-please angel, p-please wake up"

 

All of that seemed to do something ,as her finger twitches

 

Candy gasps "S-sh.. he..her finger m-moved"

 

"M-mummy? D-daddy? W-why am I..?" Orange stutters

 

"ORANGE!" Candy gasps and hugs her tightly "W-why did you do it? Y-you promised!?" she hugs her tightly

 

Orange looks at her wrists "I..I...I.."

 

Chocolate sighs and hugs her too "Lets leave it in the past, what matters is you're still with us"

Gentle winced as she felt Chocolate place a hand upon her shoulder. She nods as she leans into Quick's shoulder. "I-I understand. It's just...I didn't think that things could get out of hand so quickly. I just hope she'll be okay. Knowing after this, the two of them will want to get to their wedding faster now."

 

Quick wraps an arm around Gentle shoulder and pulls her closely to him. "Everything will be okay, sweetheart. We can either keep bringing up the past, or we can forgive and start moving on. I've got to learn to be an adult and not act like a child at times. If the way I acted could cause all of this, then it's just a sign for me on needing to change."

 

Dew was shaking like a leaf. She nods as she looks at Night. "I-I didn't t-think it was that b-bad either. I guess everything w-was too much for her to h-handle." She places a hand over her heart and clenches her hand into a fist. "P-Please pull through, sweetie. You have s-so many ponies that love you. You also h-have a fiance and twins that need you in their lives." She says as she continues looking through the Plexiglas that lead to her room.

 

Gentle gasps, but smiles brightly as she sees that Orange finally woke up. She sighs in relief, before responding, "I'm so glad that she's okay. She had us all worried there. I'm just glad to know that she's okay. I hope she can forgive me after all that had happened."

 

Quick nods while turning his face slightly to meet his wife's gaze. "I hope they can forgive us, dear. We can't forget about Dynamo. I think he had a look of disappointment towards me after everything that happened. We'll just have to cross that bridge when we get there."

 

Dew walks into Orange's room and places a hand upon Night's shoulder. "Can you or anypony here help me bring Dynamo into the room? There's another bed in here and I know the two will need each other. Now more than ever."

Chocolate sighs and nods in relief as he holds her other hand "Just please sweetie, pull through, you need to, if not for all of us here, then for Dynamo and your twins" he says softly, gently rubbing the top of her hand with his thumb, he smiles at her as she looks at her wrist again.

 

"D-Dynamo i-is going to hate me" she whimpers and curls up

 

"No he won't, he'd be scared, yes but he won't hate you. You two have a love that is unbreakable" Candy says gently to her and nuzzles her

 

Night nods "I'll help Dew, come on love" she says softly as she links arms with Dew Drop and walks with her to the other side of the infirmary.

Quick and Gentle walked into Orange's room and sat down in the available seats. "It's just like your father said, Orange. Dynamo could never hate you. You've given him so much in the past few days, just as he has done for you. You two have a bond that can never be broken. You two will make it through. I just know it." Quick says as he looks to his best friend.

 

Gentle took Orange's hands in her own, as she looks at her with sad, tear filled eyes. "Orange, sweetie? I am so very sorry. None of this would have happened if I hadn't yelled at your uncle Quick. I should have let you go to Dynamo. He needed you and I felt you could have given Quick your two bits. I was wrong, and for that we almost lost you. Could you ever forgive me, Orange?"

 

Dew nods as the two link arms and head to Dynamo's room. "I hope they can make it through this troubling time. So much has happened today. I just feel that today has taken it's toll out on everypony. I guess this is an example of things to come in the future. I j-just hope we'll all be ready for it." After a couple of minutes, the two reached Dynamo's room. Dew gently knocked on the door before entering the room. 

 

Dynamo sat on the bed with his face buried in his knees. His ears perked as he heard his room being opened. He lifts his head up to see that it was Night and Dew. "Oh, hey auntie Night and auntie Dew. What's going on? Is everypony else doing okay?"

Orange starts to cry "H-he w-won't hate me?" she sobs as she  hugs everyone who was there.

 

Night looks to Dew and sighs "Dynamo, sweetie, you're not going to like this but..Orange she.." she stops and sighs again "she was so devastated and scared of everything that was going on, w..we nearly lost her Dynamo, s-she cut h-herself, r-really badly. I-if it wasn't f-for Snowpaw alerting us, we wouldn't have gotten to her in time"

 

Chocolate grips her hand "Sweetie, Dynamo is absolutely head over heels in love with you, I highly doubt he'd hate you for anything" he says as he notices Candy look to Gentle

 

"Gentle, go on, she needs reassurance from you, the best way is to stroke her ears and hair"

Dynamo starts to shake in fear at the news. "W-We almost l-lost Orange?" Night and Dew's nod in confirmation, as Dynamo tries, but fails in getting out of bed. Dew walks over and pushes him back on the bed gently. "Now don't try and overdo it, Dynamo. You are still recovering from your injuries. While it does say you have no permanent injuries. The doctors did say you should be resting for at least a day or two if you want to be better. You don't want to be unable to have your wedding now, do you?" She looks at him quizzically, as he looks down at the bed and shakes his head. "I-I understand, b-but...Orange needs me...and I need her as well."

 

Dew sighs and rest a hand upon young Dynamo's shoulder. He looks up to see a soft smile upon her face. "That's why we came to your room, sweetie. We're taking you to her room. We'll help you in walking there." Dynamo nods, as Dew and Night helped him out of his bed and exit the room.

 

Gentle nods, as she walks carefully, but calmly towards Orange's seat and sits down. She wrapped the young unicorn in a hug and strokes her mane gently. As she did, she uses her other hand and scratches Orange's ears. "Everything will be okay, Orange. I can tell you that your father isn't lying. What I'm telling you is the absolute truth. Dynamo truly loves you with all of his heart. Nothing you do will ever change how he feels about you. True, he might be very worried and upset, but he'll still love you. I can tell you both share a true bond that will never fade away. I promise you this, sweetheart. We'll get through this completely okay. We're a family and family sticks together." She continues to scratch Orange's ears, as she gently rocks the young unicorn back and forth.

Orange coughs and closes her eyes "M-mummy, d-daddy I..I feel s-so weak" she says so softly it could almost not be heard at all and she sighs as her eyes fully close. 

 

"O-Orange s-sweetie, p-please d-don't die" Candy sobs into her chest "P-please, y-you have s-so much to live for" she continues to sob as Chocolate places a gentle hand on her shoulder and Orange opens her eyes once more as Gentle hugs her.

 

"A-auntie Ge-Gentle, w-where is D-Dye Dye?" she asks rather weakly

Gentle hears something and quickly looks out the door. She smiles, as she sees Dynamo and the others arriving towards Orange's room. "He's right here, sweetie. Everything will be okay."

 

Dynamo enters the room, only to see Orange in bad shape. He struggles out of Night's and Dew's grasp and stumbles towards Orange's bed. He sits on the bed and holds her hand in his. "I'm right here, sweetheart. I love you and I'm not going anywhere." He says, but panics as he sees her pale form. He looks to the others as tears started to form in his eyes. "What happened? Why does she look so weak?"

 

Quick shrugs his shoulders with a lost look upon his muzzle. "We're not exactly sure, son. She was fine just a minute ago, but then she suddenly became very weak. Do you have an answer as to what is going on, Night?" He asks while hoping to calm the fears of every pony in the room.

Candy hugs him and then starts to try to calm down as Night nods "When we go to her, she had already lost a lot of blood,  so, it is quite understandable that she feels weak." she says as the nurse comes in with a saline solution (like a beer solution to bring back blood flow etc, but as she is pregnant beer wouldn't be a good idea). "She will be alright, a little shaken up yes, but otherwise she should be alright once she recovers and sees you next to her"

 

the nurse gently helps Orange by lifting her chin up and opening her mouth to pour the solution down her throat "I'm sorry sweetie, but it's for your own good" Chocolate says with tears in his eyes "J-just please live"

Dynamo uses his hands to rub the tears out of his eyes. He felt Candy hug him from behind, as he leans into the hug. His ears perked as he heard Night address him. He turns in his seat so that he was looking at Night. "I understand aunt Night." He sees a nurse bringing in saline solution. He beings to panic once more as the nurse helps Orange to drink the solution. He calms down slightly as he listens to Night's explanation. "O-Okay. I just hope she'll be okay. I'll stay with her until she wakes up. I want to be the first thing she sees when she opens her eyes." He says while looking at the adults with conviction in his eyes.

 

Gentle sighs and giggles slightly. "When our son has his mind on something, there's no stopping him. I just hope Orange will pull through. They are meant for each other. They're love will never break apart. I just know it."

 

Quick places a hand upon Gentle's shoulder and nods. "They'll be strong. They've been in situations like this before and they made it through just fine. We just have to hope and pray for a miracle."

 

Dew hugs Night tightly as she watches the nurse performing her job. "W-Will that stuff help her, Night? How long does it take for that solution to take e-effect?" She asks, hoping to help relieve the situation in the room.

The nurse nods and smiles "It helps bring back blood flow and raise the level of her blood, miss Dew Drop." she says "Normally something like beer or ale would be better, but because the young mare is pregnant, we had to mix a special saline solution instead" she explains

 

Chocolate looks at Gentle and Quick "They share the same sort of bond that we share with our own wives mate, we may have our times where we argue or disagree, but nothing in this world or the next could tear us apart from each other" he says with a soft smile and a nod.

 

Orange slowly gulps down the solution and begin to feel the rush of blood flow again, shivering, she opens her eyes slowly "M-mummy? D-daddy? W-where's D.." she looks over to Dynamo and immediately hugs him "D-Dynamo!" she exclaims and cries into his chest "I-I'm s-so sorry"

Dew smiles and nods at the nurse's explanation. "That's good to know. I never knew a solution, such as this, would be helpful. I just hope this solution will be able to work." She says with a sigh of relief, as she takes Night's hand in hers for comfort.

 

Quick nods as he pulls his wife closer to him. "You're absolutely right, Chocolate. Every time I see them together, I'm always reminded of myself and Gentle, or you and Candy. While I hope they never fight, I just hope that you're right. They just have that sort of connection that could never be taken away. Hopefully seeing their marriage come to fruition will be the representation of that."

 

Dynamo gasps slightly, as he saw Orange start to awaken. He smiles and sighs in relief, as he felt Orange hug him tightly. He wraps his arms around her and rests his head on her shoulder. "I-It's okay, sweetheart. I forgive you and I'm not mad at you. I'm honestly glad to know that you're okay. There's just one thing I don't understand." He pulls away from the hug to look at her. He looks at her sadly with tears running down his cheek. "W-Why would you do that? I was worried, you know? I would feel lost and sad if I lost you and the twins."

Orange whimpers "I..I just..I thought..I was too overwhelmed a..and I didn't mean to" she cries into his chest.  "I-I'm so s-sorry Dye-Dye" she whimpers and snuggles close to him as Candy holds her hand and gently rubs it.

 

"I-It's okay sweetheart, as your father says, what matters to us is that you pulled through it, now, how about we go back to the pool if everyone is feeling better, oh and Chocolate, Quick, no more messing around like that"

 

Chocolate nods "I understand, and we definitely don't want anything like before to happen again, but yeah, I'm feeling like a swim, Orange sweetie, do you feel like it?"

 

Orange sits up and nods "Y-yes daddy, I want to go on the slides"

Dynamo smiles softly, as he wraps his arms around his beloved. "Everything will be okay, sweetheart. You were worried for me. With everything going on, it must have been too much for you." He softly whispers in her ear. He places a finger under her chin, as he slowly brought her face up so that their eyes met. "What you did really scared me, but you have to realize something, Orange. You have so many amazing individuals who truly care and love you. You have Twilight and the others, you have your parents, you have my parents and our sisters. You even have our unborn foals and me too. I won't ever let you feel overwhelmed. Talk to me next time if you start to feel that way. I love you and I want to be with you every step of the way." He slowly leans in and leaves a long kiss upon her forehead. He then leans back and gently takes her free hand in his.

 

Gentle's smile brightens a bit more, as she nods at Candy's plan. "That sounds sounds good to me, Candy. We should check up on the princesses and our little fillies. They must be worried with what happened earlier." She quickly turns around and narrows her eyes at Quick. "The same goes to you as well, Quick Fix. If I see anymore funny business that will jeopardize any pony, I'll personally drag you out of that pool. Even in your nightmares will be safe once I'm through with you."

 

Quick vigorously nods and sighs once Gentle's expressions turned happy once more. "Note to self, act more of an adult and not like a foal." He nods, before taking his wife by the hand and starts to make his way out of the room.

 

Dynamo smiles with a nod, but slowly frowns in realization. "Hey, wait a minute! Am I still allowed to be at the pool now? I still stumble as I walk, but I feel okay. Maybe I should just go back to my room and sleep for the rest of the day. I don't want to ruin anypony's fun."

 

Dew nuzzles the worried unicorn, as she rubs his back soothingly. "Everything will be okay, Dynamo. What do you think about this sweetie? Do you think both are okay to continue their pool day. We read the chart earlier. They both seem okay, but you're the final call on this." She says as she looks up to Night for an answer.

Night smiles "As long as neither of you over exert yourselves, you two should be fine" she says as she holds Orange's hand and looks at her lovingly "Sweetheart, if you ever, ever feel like cutting yourself again, see me immediately, alright?" she asks, rubbing her hand.

 

Orange nods "Y-yes auntie N-Night I will"

 

Just then, Celestia and Kind Heart come in, "Oh my gosh!" Celestia nearly gasps when she sees the stitches on Orange's wrist. She runs up to her and hugs her "Oh darling, why d-didn't you come to me? Or your mother or aunties? Or Luna?" she starts to cry as Kind gently rubs her back. "Y-you promised"

Dynamo nods in understanding, as he places his arm around her shoulder and holds her close. "I understand and I promise you aunt Night. I'll make sure Orange doesn't do that again. We'll go to you and/or the others to make sure everything is okay." He says as they saw Celestia and Kind Heart enter the room. 

 

Gentle looks down sadly, before she walks over towards the princess. "I'm really sorry, Princess Celestia. I think it was my fault that this happened. I believe this happened when I was yelling at Quick earlier for his actions. Seeing that and Dynamo's state of condition was too much for her to handle. If I hadn't gotten so angry, then none of this might have happened. I'm truly sorry, Princess. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me." She bows in front of Celestia, as she felt tears escape and race down her muzzle.

 

Dew quickly walked over and bowed as well in front of the Princess. "P-Please don't be mad at Gentle, P-Princess Celestia. Gentle was trying to do the right thing. She didn't think any consequences would arise from it." She says as she begins to stand up. She slowly closes her eyes and hope for the best.

Princess Celestia sighs and hugs Gentle "It isn't your fault Gentle Step" she says, nuzzling her softly and sighs softly as she closes her eyes, hugging Orange and she begins to start singing a song:

 

Kind sighs as he hugs her from behind, Candy nods, knowing that the song meant a lot to Celestia, especially between her and Orange. She looks to Chocolate "S-should we g-give her our answer sweetie?" she asks softly

 

Chocolate nods and bows his head before looking to Night who also nods then looks to Celestia "Your highness, we have our answer for you and Luna" she then looks to Luna who had just walked in.

Dynamo smiles softly as he listens to Celestia's song. As the song finished, he claps his hands quietly. "That was beautiful, Miss Celestia. Is that from a video game? That song sounds familiar to me." He says, as he sees Celestia hug Gentle and Orange.

 

Gentle smiles softly and returns the embrace. "T-Thank you, Celestia. That truly means a lot to me." She says with a smile, as she listens to the song. She turns and looks at Candy quizically. "What do you mean, Candy? You and Chocolate planned something?"

 

Quick nods as he felt lost in the conversation. "I agree. Did you talk to Celestia about something important? Were we supposed to know about this? Please help me out, my friend."

Celestia shakes her head "Well yes it is, one of Luna's favorites actually, it's called Undertale" she says before looking to Candy and Chocolate "Y-you do? A-are you sure?" she asks, somewhat shakily before Luna hugs her.

 

"It'll be okay sister, whatever they say, it will be for the good of everyone" she says, nuzzling her lovingly

 

Candy nods "Is everypony here, as this is very important, especially for you Orange" she says before looking around and nodding somewhat "Alright then everyone, years ago, when Orange had only just begun going to the Magic Academy, both Luna and Celestia had noticed that Orange was..special and thus had approached us to request we let them adopt her as their own and to train her to be well..Luna's protige, much like how Twilight is Celestia's protige" she says, looking around the room.

 

Everyone nodded, especially the Princesses and even Night Dancer, "Go on dear" Night says, placing a gentle hand on Candy's shoulder

Dynamo smiles and chuckles. "I thought so. I heard that was a popular game. I've never played it myself, but I may look into it."

 

Gentle softly gasps at the news. She looks over to Candy, before walking over and hugging her best friend. "This is truly incredible, Candy. I never even knew about this. I'm proud that you made a decision such as this. It didn't seem easy, but I know Orange will become a great student from Princess Luna. I could tell when I met her for the first time that she's truly special."

 

Quick smiles as he pats Chocolate on the back. "I guess the time has come for Orange. I'm really happy for you, buddy. At least you still have Starling and your future foals as well. It's difficult to let go of your first child, but it'll be okay."

 

Dew smiles and hugs Night, but notices the worried look upon Dynamo's muzzle. "What's wrong, Dynamo? Aren't you happy? This is supposed to be a time for smiles and cheering." Dynamo's ears perked as Dew addressed him. He smiles sadly and nods, before replying, "Y-Yeah, I'm truly happy for Orange. It's just...I'm worried, you know? I'm afraid with all the time she'll spend with Miss, Luna, that there won't be much time for us as much. I have a dream of being a great video game player and to make games, but...where does that lead me? I don't really have a future when you think about it." He says, before his eyes shrank as a thought came to mind. "E-Excuse me, M-Miss Luna? You are a professional type of video game player, correct? H-Have you ever taken on a student in that regard?" He asks while addressing his attention towards Miss Luna.

 

Gentle frowns while listening to her son's situation. "Aw, honey. Don't be worried. I'm sure the princesses will think of something to make sure you two will always be together. You two are never meant to be apart." She says while trying to give her son a sign of hope.

 

Quick places a hand under his chin, while closing his eyes in thought. He opens his eyes a moment later, while looking over to Chocolate. "Hey, Chocolate? I know this sounds weird, but something was bothering me. Didn't Pinball tell us that a pony had taught him his way of playing games? I don't think he ever told us the pony's name."
