Starlight is so overpowered given her background. Twilight was the student of Celestia, she’s an alicorn, and seemingly worked pretty hard to get as proficient as she is at magic. Meanwhile Starlight just that natural talent, she’s really built different. You can really see it with the little friendly duel at the start.

That said, good episode. I feel like it really highlights Starlight’s internal struggles with trying to overcome her past as a crazy manipulator who just used a spell to make everything go her way. Her character flaws really make her likable to me.
