Indicus took enjoyment from watching his marefriend looking at all the flowers in the glade. He sniffed one or two when Crystal requested it of him but for the most part he just watched as Crystal gleefully picked out flowers for the garden. If most days were like this when they married then he would be happy to spend eternity with her.

Crystal giggles as she comes back with bunches of various flowers following her, surrounded in magic "Look sweetheart, aren't they all so lovely? Our garden will be so bright and full of color in no time" she says with a giggle. She then nuzzles him as they make their way back to the house and she starts digging around with her forehooves to plant the flowers she brought with them, she smells one and sighs softly "Today has started off so well, don't you think sweetheart?"

 Indicus smiled "The flowers look quite lovely." Indicus leans a little into Crystal as she nuzzles him and when the couple arrived at their home he watched her plant the flowers. "Today has started of rather nicely Crystal. We are planting flowers in front of our house and planning to take a trip to Canterlot soon, quite the nice start indeed."

Crystal smiles and nods as she hums a little tune, enjoying the warm sun on her fur and chitin while she plants the flowers and smiles at her lovely husband to be "Indicus, is...is there anything, anything at all that I can do for you, to..show you how much I appreciate and love you?" she asks with a soft and warm smile, lifting up her glasses with a hoof a litlte.

Indicus placed a hoof on Crystals withers "There is no need to prove anything to me. I can tell your love and appreciation from how you talk and move. So there is nothing you can or must do to show your love and appreciation besides what you want to do." Indicus affectionately nuzzles Crystal before giving her a peck on the lips.

Crystal chirps happily, and by his words alone, she knew that his love for her was true. She smiles and nuzzles him "Do you want to know what I dreamed about last night? I dreamed we had a little filly running around and you were taking care of me while I was pregnant with our second"

"I have had similar dreams if you can believe it. Though like most I've always wanted a fully or colt to watch grow up to be the best ponies they can be." Indicus hugged Crystal holding her close. "No matter I believe that little chapter will come Monday."

Crystal smiles and nuzzles him "S-so soon? But we haven't even.." she blushes as she looks down between her hind legs to her marehood, "Am I emitting that much of a scent dear?" she asks, blushing deeply, and nuzzling him with a soft chirp to her voice. She continued to blush.

Indicus realized what he said and blushed like hell. "I...I misspoke. I meant, that little chapter will come later. As in awhile from now." Indicus mentally cursed at himself for such an embarrassing blunder like that.

She giggles and nuzzles him "It's okay, I can honestly say I'm looking forward to having a family with you too" she says and kisses him with a warm and soft smile, one that could ease anypony into feeling better. She continues to plant her flowers and smiles "in my dream, the little filly was so incredibly sweet and adorable, she'd constantly draw us pictures of the family and lots of critters. She's the type that'd find an injured critter and want to nurse it back to health"

The kiss almost immediately calmed him down even if the blush was still very much visible on his face. "The filly does sound very sweet, she probably took after you sounds like the same type of energy you have."

 

Once the planting of flowers finished, Indicus nuzzled, Crystal then gave her a kiss.

Crystal smiles and wipes the sweat from her forehead "Certainly does sound like that, always kind and caring ,but with a sense of adventure and a strong heart, just like her daddy" she says with a giggle and kisses him back, then rests her head on his neck a litlte.

Indicus laughed, "I'm sure any children we have would be very stubborn and tenacious look at who we are. A old hybrid soilder and a exiled Changeling queen that survived despite the odds. If our children aren't a handful I'll be quite surprised." Indicus moved his head around a little causing Crystal's head to gently move across his neck in a way that he hoped would feel good for her.

Crystal murrs as she feels her head rub across Indicus' neck "Mm you're right, but still sweet as candy" she says as she closes her eyes and smiles as she enjoyed just being there with him. She could feel his heart beat and she knew that it beat for her, and visa versa. "Look darling, our necklaces are glowing, to show that our love is true unadulterated love"

Indicus looked at the necklace he wore and like she said it was glowing a warm reddish pink while pulsing in tune with Crystal's heartbeat. "Yea they do, they also pulse with the strength of our hearts, yours with my heart and mine with yours." Indicus smiled, "I love you Crystal, the Queen of my heart."

She smiles and murrs once more "And I you, the king of my heart and soul" she says and nuzzles him lovingly before she opens her eyes again and smiles once more "Well we should probably start getting packed for our trip to Canterlot" she says with a soft sigh.

Indicus nodded, "Probably should start packing what we need to go though besides my equipment, a tux for times it's required and some hygiene products I won't need much. As for you, well I'll leave what you take to you, if you want a dress or something tell me. Ponyville has a good tailor that can make one."

She smiles and kisses him "A dress would be good, surely while we are there, Lulu and Tia will be dragging us to various high society events" she says with a giggle "The Grand Galloping Gala still going on?" she asks as she starts heading inside to start packing.

Indicus started getting things together for the trip. "Yes the Grand Galloping Gala is still a yearly event I believe it is actually coming up in a couple weeks. Well I'm sure you would know what to expect from it. Nobles playing their games something that I have to do just because of my status and how close I am to the princesses." Indicus finished with a sigh.

"And nod bout I'll be involved..can you imagine the chaos it will entail though..the reveal that there's a Changeling Queen amongst them" she says with a soft sigh, "half of them will be wanting my head, the others, especially the males would want to try to court me"

"The thing is you'll have me, I can ward off the fools who would plot to kill you and the ones that try to court you. My reputation would ward all but the most foolish. When we go to the Gala the nobles will know that you are mine as I am yours." Indicus gave Crystal another kiss.

She nods and kisses him back "I know, but it still doesn't mean I can't be nervous" she says then giggles "I'm also sure Lulu and Tia and even Shade should he be there would also ward them off" she says and begins to pack what little she had to bring with her. She looks down to her necklace and kisses it.

Indicus felt a wave of warmth wash over him it felt similar to the feeling the previous night but stronger. Either way it felt good. Like if Crystal kissed him but somehow the feeling went deeper then that, leaving a pleasant sweetness on his tongue.

 

Indicus did not know it but that was his second taste of love in the way Changelings experienced it. Something Crystal would surely notice happing though the why was another matter.

She smiles at him and nuzzles him "well I'm all packed" she says as she looks around their small cottage "I'm going to miss this place while we're away, but you'll be there right beside me" she says softly, feeling the same sensation as he did and smiles at it

Indicus finished packing his things including his weapons on of which he put on his waist held by a sword belt. He then came into the living room with a single bag "Well I'm done packing. I'll lock the place up and we can get your dress ordered and have it by the time the evening train leaves the station."
