Indicus laughed, "why yes the idea came to me suddenly." Indicus kissed Crystal again "It helps that your too sexy to resist."

 

Indicus heard a night guard approach and groaned as the silhouette of the guard he heard approached. "Sir everypony is ready to start the raid just waiting on you." The guard was clearly a mare and carried a fair bit of nervousness.

 

Indicus sighed, "I'll be there in a moment you're dismissed." The young guard saluted and walked off.

 

Indicus looked back at Crystal, "Well duty calls, though I promise I'll make this up to you." Indicus kissed Crystal again

Rarity smiles and rests her head on his chest "Well he's going to have to sooner or later, Crystal is likely to make him be the King of the hive" she says softly with a giggle

Crystal pouts but sighs in resignation "J-just be safe please darling, we have a hive to rebuild together"

Shaded laughed thinking about Indicus being King of the Hive, "It seems I will be playing damage control quite a bit for the first few years. But eventually he will get there, well until a threat is leveled at Crystal or any one of his friends." Shaded took a breath.

 

"Honestly Indicus being at least part demon explains his short temperament." Shaded shook his head "Indicus would make for an interesting king to be sure.

 

"No matter I love you dear." Shaded raises Rarity's head up and kissed her.

Indicus looked back, "I'll do whatever I can to make sure I come back." Indicus then walked off to the meeting area having been told when he set up the raid.

Rarity smiles and kisses him back, wrapping her arms around him "I know darling, and it is going to be a fair few interesting years to be sure, but with you by his side, I'm sure Indicus will be able to make it work for him"

"Please do, I'll miss you my darling, think I might go see my children again" she says before she spreads her wings and flies back off to the market

"Shaded nodded, "He and Crystal will both make for a good King and Queen, and there is no worry that Indicus will grow old and die of age. Something I'm glad about because the love between the two is almost overwhelming, Indicus's death would devastate her."

 

Shaded, shook his head, "Forgive me I tend to ramble on about things." Shaded wrapped his arms around Rarity, "I know you are making something for Indicus because we both know he would just use his old dress uniform if you don't. Though I am quite courious about what you will chose to wear to the Gala."

Indicus found himself at the meeting spot where a total of ten Lunar Guards were gathered. So without delay Indicus lead the Lunar Guards to the warehouse that the meeting was to take place in and sure enough several stallions and their target arrived at the warehouse. It was time.

Rarity nods and rests her head on his chest again "By special request of Crystal, she wants him to look his best for their first Gala together. He'll complain at first, but we also know that he will do it for her" she says with a giggle

As the ponies they were targeting arrived, the captain shakes his head "I recognize those two, they were kicked out of the guard academy, for pretty much the same reason Lightning Dust was kicked out of the Wonderbolts Academy,I'm guessing they're the ring leaders?"

Shaded laid back and brushed his hand through Rarity's mane and even a little way down her neck his hands making light trails in her fur.

Indicus looked at the pair and nodded, "They are." Indicus pulled his blade out readying himself for the fight to come. "On my signal go in fast and hard if you get a chance to take care of the targets take it. You all have permission to kill at your discretion.

 

Indicus readied himself at a door and once everyone was in position he gave the signal and the door flew inward.

Rarity smiles and moans softly at the attention her lover was giving to her "This feels so wonderful, I must admit, I was a little wary about you at first, but then after I knew you and Crystal had known each other..intimately, I realized you weren't...weren't like the ones that attacked Canterlot"

the Captain nods but before everything he gets his two best guards "You two, look for the husband and son of the stall owner, make sure that they get to safety above all else"

Shaded continued brushing his hand through Rarity's mane. "Not surprising, your only point of reference on changelings were lovestarved and desperate with their queen having her mind muddled by too much love too quickly after having been starving days ago." Shaded brushed his hand all the way down Rarity's neck to her shoulder and back up again.

After the door flew open Indicus and the other guards poured in the two tasked with getting the jewelry shopkeeper's family would find them to the right while the rest went through the surprised thugs.

 

Indicus quickly took care of any thugs that attacked either killing them or just knocking them out, which ever was most convenient.

 

Indicus spotted the leaders and made a b line for them.

Rarity closes her eyes "Yes, but I had also heard stories of a beautiful Changeling Queen, who had ruled over the Crystal Empire with kindness and love, but no one ever knew what had happened to her" she says then smiles "Now I know, and now I'm also dating her most trusted guard" she says with a giggle.

The remaining thugs look at him, getting ready for a fight

 

Meanwhile a colt's crying could be heard from one of the cells, and the father could be heard comforting him "Shh, it's okay son,the real guards will rescue us, I-I'm sure of it"

Shaded smiled, "I never realized legends about Crystal survived, I guess I did not give Celestia and Luna enough credit. Ponies usually easily forget about the past and it fades into myth or legend a few hundred years later even if books on the subject are made though with better preservation spells hopefully that ends."

 

Shaded snuggled closer to Rarity, feeling her body heat on his shell.

The two sent to find the captives followed the crying and rushed to the cell. They easily broke the old lock and opened the cell. "Sir we will get you home." Said the voice of a Theatral mare as they walked the father and son out of the location their fellow guards surrounding them.

 

Meanwhile, Indicus looked at the thugs trying to stop him with a amused chuckle. Their fear spurring him on, he quickly finished with the remaining thugs in his way and looked at the leaders in the same way a wolf looks at a rabbit. "Give up now and I will leave your judgement to the princesses refuse and your lives are forefit." Indicus had already judged them, they had kidnapped a child and father, extorted businesses, tried to turn the city against his marefriend and he was sure they had killed civilians as well.

Rarity nods "Well..it was in one of the books from Twilight's castle's library" she says "I'm just glad those records were accurate than what ponies would have said, I coudl tell from how much she cried when she talked about the others, se truy has a good heart" she says and nuzzles her lover.

One of them looks to the other "That's Indicus that is" he says as he drops his weapons "A'right, I surrender" he says

"Crystal cares for others as if they were her own some of her subjects even gave her the nickname Mother Crystal" Shaded nuzzled his marefriend back.

"Wise choice." Indicus said sounding almost disappointed. The guards started cuffing both gang leaders Indicus looking at the both of them his gaze daring one of them to give him an excuse to wipe them off the map.

 

Once the prisoners were secure they were put in a cart to be taken to the castle prison with several guards watching the cart at all times.

Rarity smiles "It totally makes sense though, I could definitely see her acting all motherly with her subjects, and even with other ponies who liked her and she liked too. She truly is a one of a kind mare and it is good to see both Princesses happy, I was worried that Luna might..get jealous again and well you know.."

Crystal was walking around the marketplace, when she saw the guards approaching with the stallion and the colt, she smiles "Hello guards, I trust by this that it means everything went smoothly?"

Shaded smiled and even chuckled a little at the thought of Luna getting jealous over Crystal. "Honestly I don't think that is possible. If anything the rebellion was possible because Crystal was not there to calm Luna down."

 

Shaded snuggled into Rarity some more enjoying the love and happiness radiating from her. "Though I'll let Luna tell her own past I'll say this, she probably would have loved to go after those criminals tonight rather then all the paperwork and dealing with nobles."

Indicus saw Crystal and ran up to her to kiss her momentarily forgetting the blood on his armor and coat.

Rarity chuckles "I bet, on both accounts" sh says and kisses him "Crystal is..just so fragile though, after Indicus left for the raid, I could sense her tension and fear of losing him." she sighs and closes her eyes "let us just rest love, it's been a long and exciting day"

"I know, I just hope Indicus dose not pit himself against something too much for him to handle." Shaded smiles as he snuggles up to Rarity, "Okay enough of this grim discussion, the idea of rest sounds good."

"I am as well. We were able to rescue the father and son, and both leaders were captured and only a few guards were lightly injured and no deaths." Indicus looked at himself and then Crystal, "I should get cleaned off don't need the blood to stick to my fur. You should as well the hugging and such got some on you." Indicus's cheeks tinged red in mild embarrassment.

Rarity smiles as she lays down with Shaded and snuggles up to him, She could be heard softly and cutely snoring as she fell quickly asleep and fell into the realm of dreams.

Crystal smiles and nods "Alright but after that we need to return here, our hivelings are organising a party and a welcome home for thest allion and the colt."

Indicus was able to quickly get to their room and promptly took a quick shower. Cleaning all the blood and sweat off his fur. Finished with the shower he dried off and put on some more casual cloathing.

 

"There much better dried blood in fur is not fun."

Crystal smiles and kisses him as she passes him to go take her shower. "I'll be out in a bit darling, then we should go to the celebration, I'm sure the family would love to thank you for helping to reunite them, the colt looked so happy to finally see his mother again, it truly warmed my heart" she says before stepping into the bathroom and getting into the shower.

"Sounds good." Indicus watched as Crystal disappeared into the bathroom. His mind went to the realization that in due time he and Crystal would marry and it would make him king of the Changelings. Something that felt odd to think about. Indicus decided to push the thought aside and waited for Crystal.

A few minutes later, Crystal emerged from the bathroom, drying her hair and with a towel wrapped around her mid section. She leans over and kisses Indicus "That feels much better, and now I can wear my nice new dress that Rarity just finished for me, I've invited her and Shaded as well"

Indicus raised a brow, curious. "Another dress, Rarity got carried away making dresses for you didn't she. Though seeing as it's Rarity and she considering you a friend it is no surprise."

 

Indicus returned the kiss while keeping his mind in check though it did not stop his eyes from wandering.

Crystal nods "She clearly is the true meaning of her element dear, but I feel she just wants to show me that some..non Changelings, so to speak, don't see me and my kind as a threat, but just like other ponies" she says with a soft smile, kissing his cheek as she then gets into her dress, it hugged her figure perfectly and showed off her true beauty. "Some of her own magic was put in this, I think"

Indicus grinned, "Rarity has out done herself once more it seems, you look absolutely stunning." Indicus kissed Crystal's cheek. "Well we better get going, don't want to keep them waiting forever."

 

Indicus opened the door and gave a small bow, "After you Crystal."
